Besides the Öhlins and the more powerful engine and brakes and different handlebars. What is the difference on geometry? I own an 848 and I love it on the twisty roads. It just feels perfect and very well balanced.

Rake and trail angles are different I believe. 848 variant is a better commuter in my opinion 😉

Thing just cut right off. I hear rattling but Ducati's always rattle. I hope it wasn't the entire engine. I'm glad you were not burning the road up when this happened.

NOT the usual rattle Ducatis make.😅 Vertical (rear) cylinder walls are toast, one of the valves dropped hitting the piston 🥊 Engine is toast.

@@phil4986 Thanks. Ended up selling it as is. Cost to repair the bike. vs. selling and perhaps 🤔 purchasing a different bike was pretty clear.
