I'm also in WA and did tree work, everyone around here at least understands how invasive they are!

It’s not my dog, not my project area. If I kept a 20m from the windows I wouldn’t be doing any work on this property…

The owner is going to be fighting sprouts for years. Don’t let pets run over it and wear shoes. Those shoes should not go near the house. That area will be a thorny mine field for years to come

Doesn't Stihl have mulching blades? I think they Stihl calls them shredder blades.

They do, but they’re expensive and I’m not sure how durable they are. When I make some money from KZbin I’ll try it out

I bought some extra land to my property, because the previous owner built the garage on land he did not own 😒 It was covered in blackberries, since the real owner didn't want anything ti do with it since the garage was wrongfully built on his land. I cleaned 400m2 by hand, using only pruning shears. I miss that energy I had 😂

This was right before the berries matured. The plant is called Himalayan Blackberry, this is the bramble of the plant.

Clearly as the brambles were all brown, a systemic weedkiller was used a month or so prior to to cutting! This is the only way to kill brambles and stop them regrowing. Problem is most systemic weedkillers remain active in the soil for up to 3 or 4 years depending on the soil therefore nothing else will grow!

Sounds like a scammer trying to scam free work out of you. Overly pushy about getting a job started is a major red flag. I tell customers if they're in such a panic to get the job started, contract someone else. Being unreasonable isn't a characteristic of clientele that I want to deal with, those type of clients are never worth the hassle.
