Messed up the recording at the end. We lost game 3 and it was not very exciting haha.

Gameplay starts: 24:18. Still not sure if it was correct to ignore almost all of my rares haha. Looking back, I also think I could have splashed for something given all of the mana fixing in this set.

Oh no. I definitely thought the volume came through on the original video. Back to OBS…😅

10/10 would recommend crafting the deck. 0 rares or mythics! Lots of fun to play and makes you think outside of the box.

I think not playing that monstrous rage in game one early was killer. I should I have thought about bat coming down.

1:17 i am still not sure what the correct play would have been. If i had used lightning strike, the mouse lives because of prowess. That hits face for 3. Mouse gets in for 3 damage and swifty hits at 3 more. So, they would go to 7 instead of 3. Then, the turn after, if everything lives, I have rage and shock up. However, that may have changed their play.

In game 2, I think I could have not blocked with LORAN when I did. Because it has vigilance, I could have let the 11 damage come throw, attacked with it next turn and then blocked the following turn. That would have left me open to a removal of Loran and then certain death, but something I didn’t consider originally.

NGL, came back to this one to see how the mono red player played.

12:32 I wonder if the resolute into knight errant is actually a good play. I know it generated some good returns, but I had to protection from a sweeper. However, they never showed a sweeper so I may have been playing around that too much.

The top deck land was huge at the end of game one lol. I think I had lethal anyway though.

At about 5:30, I think I made my best 2 decisions of game 1. First was to not just flag in zephyr. I made them choose one and had a bigger chance to keep knight errant. The other was to continue the pressure against the 3 bats and not tab warden.

On game 1 with the mulligans, I wonder if it was actually better to keep knight errant instead of the tishana or werefox. Tishana is a tempo piece and werefox is pseudo removal but not really. Given how behind I was, maybe it knight errant would have let me catch up.

I think my summary at the end was good about holding tempo. But, didn’t I just gave the upper hand because I was on the play? How do I get that tempo proactively when I am on the draw? That seems tough. I assume you have to try and stop them and then counter punch. Something like countering one of their early plays and then landing my own threat? Their deck also seemed odd. I don’t know if I saw them have a 2 drop.

I think I made a couple of mistakes in game 2 in regards to not countering some of their plays. For instance, they could have paid to allow wandering to resolve and I chose to not play anything. However, I basically gave them 2 mana instead of forcing them to make it resolve.

Game 1 seemed decently clean. Especially without really getting any of my good pieces in. No knight errant or Harbin.

Looking at the mulligan on game 3 before watching. I do think it was wrong. I think I should have kept make disappear instead of zephyr. Don’t think zephyr offered enough if my hope was knight errant

Game 2 was definitely cleaner. The destroy evil on temporary lockdown to bring back tishana was a fun trick. I think there were a few branching paths there, but I feel like I didnt make huge mistakes. The destroy evils were clearly a key element.

Not sure why I kept the hand in game 1. Lunarch is a fine open, but it think the zephyrs into wedding announcement is too slow. I think I lose velocity without good draws.

Yeah, by turn 4, I am passing with no additional creatures and just a 2 counter wedding announcement. No way to really interact and not pressuring the board particularly well.

First clear lesson is I play much too fast. Even on mobile, I should be taking a little longer.
