I quit working on this stuff after AI came out. It is pointless to hassle with tons of work when AI can do it. ILM had a bad result with general Tarkin , while deep fake version was like a joke.

I love how videos like this, showing the process, make it look fun and easy (if you just knew how to do it!) The reality is years of learning combined with weeks of work - to get a single realistic looking render. Much respect to you sir - thanks for making it look easy.

Something I find so fascinating with models like these is that we have already far surpassed the limits of realism with style and look. But not motion. You see them still and think, "Yeah, that looks real." Then see the way they blink, or the movements of the jaw and realize that something is off. I think we have a long way to go before anything, Human or ai, is able to completely fool thousands of years of our brains evolution toward recognizing something as, Human.
