This is Ovan's tough love. It's sad, everything he put Haseo through. But this wasn't just about making Haseo strong, it was about growing up (G.U.). When this all started, Haseo was an anti-social jerk with no friends. By the end, he was the hero who saved The World, with a group of loyal companions by his side. The scene where Atoli's spirit comforts Haseo's tortured soul in hell always makes me tear up. That's what made Haseo truly strong; not his rage, but his love.

Or in coma. Any strange thing that happens in that game normally ends up with the player unconscious. I think most of The World problems would have solved themselves if the VR headsets didn't have neural connections with the brain.

Ryan Jackson because ovan one..an epitaph user, two ovan is a hacker an a known manipulator of the worlds parameters like other known characters such as zelkova, gabi, yata/nala. And most of all he has AIDA which pretty much makes him broken.

8 years older, and this movie makes the modern attempts at CGI anime look like Dreamcast graphics in comparion to that of Modern video games. If Kentaro Muira wanted a CG Berserk anime, he should have just asked CC2's sensible art innovation studio to do it instead of who they have now.

half of the movie is suggested haseoxatoli . alot of the parts are rushed , mashed together , or left out. This battle has not happened in the game AT ALL . I know this is rather late but eh , whatever right?

the whole movie is basically a sort of retelling/remaster of all three games' primary plot surrounding Haseo, Atoli, Ovan and A.F.Kite. Cubia never officially shows up in the movie, Atoli has far more power than she actually does, the Twins never appear, Xth Form Haseo isnt gained from facing Skeith, Innis is never really fought, Sakaki is barely a footnote... there's a lot from the game's plot/canon that isnt mentioned or addressed at all in Trilogy, and some things get added that never existed (aura especially gets changed from a "humans handle stuff on your own because i'm kinda done with you for now" to a "Ovan did wrong and should be punished justly stop fighting my will oh shit you beat me oh well good work i guess" kind of person) and a LOT of things get dropped (like Vs any of the other avatars practically, let alone the AIDA) in favor of a more...flowing plotline (plus at around an hour-thirty you gotta squeeze in the important stuff while leaving in just enough side shit to show that they're actually the characters.) But it still basically captures the idea of GU's story pretty decently enough. not to the level of the games of course but those are like, 30+ hour games times three so you got lots of time to develop people. but it gets the point across pretty well and looks fucking amazing while doing it.

That was pretty awesome if you just appreciate for the exaggerated action spectacle it was. Man Haseo was so angry it was funny to me. Too bad there are no cool fights like this in the game.
