Did you even understand what I said? The fruit gives him powers that are similar tothe mythical Nika he's not a god. The same way Sengoku's fruit let's him turn into a statue of Buddha. That doesn't mean Sengoku is actually Buddha or possessed by his spirit. Nika is part of the mythical Zoan line. Nika is a myth worshipped by slaves. If you read manga, Doctor Vegapunk revealed a little bit of information about devil fruit, including how it works or how it was created. the Sun God myth or legend that was manifested into a DF by people's strong desires.

He's not Joyboy, he's Monkey D. Luffy. Zunesha is clearly reacting to Gear5 (the drums or the DF awakening), not Luffy. Joyboy had the Nika DF and awakened it, just like Luffy has. That's why, when Zunesha heard it, he thought that Joyboy was back because of the drums (like the liberation thingy). Oda is setting Luffy to be the new joyboy, but not the same person who lived 900 years ago.
