A tip for the personal cup to get it tight enough: tighten it moderate by hand, then put it on the base and tighten it there. It gives you enough leverage to tighten it better

Since most comments here are hurtful and people toxic, let me just say that I (for what it's worth) wholeheartedly agree with your opinion. I was gifted a Vitamix from work and I've been trying to make sense of it for months now. And the people who think Vitamix is needed for a healthy lifestyle are just dumb (just eat a fruit)!

I couldn't agree with you more about eating the fruit. Most of the weirdos just want a milkshake by another name. The purpose of the device was to incorporate some vegetables. I watched these dummies like bananas, strawberries, grapes and then cover it with juice. Wtf? No sane person would ever eat that much sugary fruit in a sitting, but it's a "smoothie" so it's good for you.😂

You must have not done any research before you bought it. I watched several videos about it before I got mine. And almost all of them said buy this one if you are wanting to do single servings and this one if you know you are going to make a lot all the time. but you should have known before you bought that particular one that is was not good for single servings. So stop making videos about how bad something is because you didn't do the leg work to find out which one was best for you.

I never tried the food processor attachment but I agree the personal cup is lacking. I just use the big blender. It’s not a big deal if I just want to use smaller batches. Cleanup is pretty easy. Ninja seems better but in practicality o will stick with vitamix
