Bought the tape of this back in the 80s. Nice to hear it again. Love Matt saw him in the 90s at the Ryde -Eastwood leagues when he did the By Heart tour around Sydney. I listen to As little as a look at least once a week. Thank you for uploading this awesome album.
@JacqueBruce0Ай бұрын
I wish my copy of the album came with the poster, but sadly it was absent. It’s naturally hard to pick my favorite album of theirs, but this one easily does battle with Fade Away for my top spot every time I listen to Matt’s beautiful music. I listen to As Little As A Look every Thursday on my drive to work in the morning (could sing along word for word in my sleep). Light Me Up is such a standout track not just on that album, but frankly the entire decade! Truly wish the band could’ve reunited before his passing, and wish I could’ve seen them live. I’m sure they absolutely killed it when you saw them!

music is great but this mix the record is skipping
@JacqueBruce0Ай бұрын
@@barbarabee7166 Crazily enough it’s just the way they did the dub as The Scientist only worked on two of these dubs (A Fool Will Fall and Bandits Taking Over respectively). I find those to be more coherent, but I digitized these recordings as soon as I opened the seal so I’d be shocked if there were indeed skips.

@@Ominouspopsicle A few years ago I came across The Wygals, and immediately searched on Discogs for what I could find. Once I spotted this demo I asked the person who owned it at the time if they could send me an audio clip. After a lack of response for a few months I feared the worst, but then got an audio clip in my email! After I listened to it I immediately purchased it, and the fellow who sent it my way included an extra demo of theirs from 1985. As far as I’m aware it is the only of its kind that survives today, and contains perhaps the earliest recordings by the band. Check my channel within the next few days, and I will have at least posted the next part of Side 1 of this demo (if you want the audio personally from that one then I’ll give you my email: [email protected]) feel free to message me and I’ll see if I can get those audio files to you within the week.

@@kevinfairburn Absolutely! It’s a paradox for me as I wish I could’ve lived in that era to see the bands I love live, but I probably never would’ve known about all of those bands as the music scenes were so insular back then.
