This music is so wonderful I could listen to it all day. It lifts my soul to places beyond the clouds. Reminds me of the male voice choral festival that used to be held in Johannesburg in the 1970s. Glorious times.

Yes I saw this and lived it. Will save it to show my Mum who is 92 years old and Welsh but has lived in Liverpool since she got married at 18. She talks about her Welsh roots all the time.

I also saw this on The piano Beautiful rendition and should have been sent through to play at the festival hall.

Only found this song after watching The Piano, on Channel 4 last night. Being sung by such a wonderful choir, is just as so beautiful. Thanks for posting.

Just recently discovered this beautiful hymn sung by a Welsh female singer Ceri Haf Roberts at a concert by the Melbourne Welsh Male choir. I was touched by its beauty and have since heard versions by Rhys Meirion, Bryn Terfel, Lisa Angharad and the choirs above. The song is a real treasure.

I've no Welsh in me but what a beautiful anthem, sung so proudly by those glorious voices. Brought me to tears.

My Mum was English but she could sing the Welsh anthem In their language.

Doesn't matter how often I hear this anthem Gedelaethol, it still brings tears to my eyes

I prefer it sang slower.

CARLOS Marine from ildivo, would have been more than amazing had he been given a solo singing with Welsh Choirs, that is a fact. Welsh voices are very hard to beat, just as CARLOS Marine is phenomenal , no other has his gift.

God save the ‘monarch’ is hardly inspirational -( ‘an audience with Billy Connolly got it right’)Anyway,the English shouldn’t claim it as their anthem-they should adopt one of their own.There are several to chose from ,any of which might raise the same kind of fervour as the anthems of Wales,Scotland and both parts of Ireland.

What a moving anthem. We English need a stirring anthem instead of singing about an unelected monarch. How can anyone have pride in our anthem especially if not a royalist.

Best National Anthem EVER in the world. My mother (bless her, in heaven now) came from Denbigh in North Wales, and this always brings tears to my eyes. Rugby World Cup tonight at 8pm, Wales v. Australia. Stand by for another listen to the best National Anthem in the world!

I too am English to the core of my soul, but having 2 children, Adam and Alika born at Morriston Hospital Swansea i feel closer to wales than anywhere. Yes im writing this from my home in Traralgon Victoria, Australia. Only time and life can tell me why.
