Is this supposed to be some kind of spinoff of the Milla Jovovich movie? Doesn’t look quite as good.

I think that this is my favorite video of yours. The editing, voiceover, script, and pacing all culminate in a truly exquisite piece of content.

If they change how the slide is preformed I hope they put a way to change it back cause I honestly used it alot for positioning in the faster fights against ray dau and arkveld button layout wise

I don't know about world as I didn't play enough of it but I use the item while weapon drawn ability quite often in Rise, cause it lets you "jog" (as in default max speed) while not consuming your stamina, compared to holding the sprint button while using the item. It allows me to create distance from the monster while conserving my stamina in case I need it.

I've only played with CB and Hammer and now wanted to try something else after 100+ hours. I went with S&H and this video was so helpful, thank you!

I know this video is one month old, but… sharpnesses modifier not affecting the shield, couldn’t it be that Shield has ALWAYS the highest damage multiplier? We don’t know what MV they wanted to give to the shield, so maybe it’s always doing peak damage. That would be great, since it doesn’t matter how much sharpness you have, your shield will always do peak damage and stun. Apart from that, I’m able to aim backstep after guards perfectly with focus mode. I play with mouse and keyboard, so maybe on controller you won’t be that fast with the camera, but it’s a thing with mouse

Wish you'd displayed mouse & keyboard controls on the screen aswell to translate the information easier, but still pretty useful. Thank you

You pretty much summarized pretty well what was ailing SnS. My problem was with Perfect Rush being really sluggish for some reason. It did not feel responsive as in Sunbreak, so hopefully this was fixed as they say. It seems like I had to press stuff extra hard to get it to execute. I don't know if I am describing it right. SnS will still be a beastly weapon. I am so glad that shield is super responsive as I was using it a lot in defense in Sunbreak. If Embolden comes back, probably not, SnS will be a beast for me. If not, I am picking up Lance as my backup so that feel with stay for me.

CB main starting a new playthrough doing SNS only, since i've really loved the idea of having backhops and metsu to play around with. Appreciate the vid since the learning curve for new weapons can be rough, especially when it comes to the little stuff like the guard back hop, i frequently mess that up.

How are you dealing 200+ damage per slash?
@blainjohnson9507Ай бұрын
In the training room its fatalis SnS which is very strong and does great damage. In the Alatreon fight its a frostcraft build which is Velkhanas set bonus. It buffs your attacks while the meter has charges. Once its drained you need to sheathe for a few seconds to refill it. Keep in mind back hop move has insane damage over all the other moves of SnS.

But u ain’t quarios craft the high ninja this video is a scam and u jus like the others better only true fans of the high ninja know how to make it stronger and better yes pros and cons but the pros don’t need to go unnoticed that high ninja has been mastered by me better than all my other weapons and I built everything else pointlessly high ninja is best

I'm aware that I'm a little late for this, but does anyone know if sword and shield's shield attacks are affected by critical?
@FluffyPandaBeayr2 ай бұрын
you mean shield attacks can crit? if thats your question then it can crit
@ggrr14283 ай бұрын
The only thing I was worried about is how spammeable is the new attack, not big fan of it, and wouldn't like to see a sns speedrun just doing that attack again and again. Apart from that, didn't see you doing a single one back jump with the long auto attack combo, where do you have to press your attack button in the right moment.
@angelinarobbins15673 ай бұрын
Its interesting that the ninja sword is the worst. But it has 100 percent infinity which means critical hits every time. I know it doesn't get purple sharpness. But still. I will try it out eventually.

Affinity
@yetravellingsonc83722 ай бұрын
Short answer: Sunbreak already gives you so many options to reach 100 affinity by default that the maxed crit chance for the Ninja Sword means less and less the more options you get. 300 isn't that great for raw SnS, and blue sharpness is pretty bad for endgame especially when compounded by the raw. Mix ALL of that with poor slottage both for normal decos and rampage skills, and there's just no reason to use it over something like the Kamura sword or the Status options.

I actually find myself using sliding slash a lot as a gap closer. and the scaling slash is very useful to have a wirebug free way of reaching higher up hitzones with some regularity. And the upward boost at the start of a falling bash can allow you to avoid some low to the ground attacks if you time it right. It's tricky though and tough to get so good it's reliable.
