The Bobby Knight cult never ceases to amaze me with their Jonestown like affection for this guy. No doubt he was a tremendous coach and while I admire his demand for academic standards, the Knight cult acts as though he's the only coach in the history of college athletics with demands. This dude had decades long incidents with IU staff with regards of harassment and intimidation; at some point, the off the court behavior overshadows the accomplishments on the court. I now await the inevitable ad homenim from the Bobby Knight cuckolds.

If you get the chance to watch the video on here that Coach Knight did with Joe Buck, the one thing that stood out to me was when Joe Buck told Coach Knight that while he was going to school at IU, he (Joe Buck) was in a class that had four of coaches players in it and the ONLY students that had their attendance records kept were those four, that reemphasized what kind of guy coach was and we need more people in society like him.

Great story and I met Landon Turner twice at his home in Indianapolis in 1986 and 87 and we talked about Coach Knight and his time playing basketball 🏀 for Indiana. Always enjoyed seeing him and talking to him when I met him. Great guy him and Coach Knight
