User doesn’t care about the how or what, they care about getting real value. Here’s my take: right now there’s a huge gap of opportunities merging AI with Saas enjoy it, don’t do that like you’re doing the next Instagram or Airbnb, eventually your app could die. But until that, solve people problems, generate value, get money and do it again or sit and watch other do it.

Good data in good data out. Someone's expertise of 30 years is valuable, their outputs would be superior when they have trained their RAG system for their LLM, output, that'll be a quote, unquote, third ball As a digital marketer that loves AI, creating a marketplace, it's usually a terrible idea.
@ridiculousmarketplaces15 сағат бұрын
I've seen pretty awesome AI tools no doubt. But you're talking someone with 30 years of experience having a go at it, I'm talking about someone interested in the space currently on their first attempts. And other than expediting a workflow like a macro or script, I still don't see how AI creates any other kind of value unless it intakes data the end user doesn't have on hand. My successful marketplace #2 had B2B customers come in, use the product, and never leave. They basically sent me love letters. In order for a competitor to come in and steal their attention, they'd first have to surpass my userbase in quantity and ability to utilize it.

Building a marketplace is also something you most probably, really shouldn't do. It's considered a 'tarpit' idea by Y combinator.
@ridiculousmarketplacesКүн бұрын
@@Badadodadoop IMO yc has also fallen far from grace by moving away from carefully selected investments in businesses serving uncharted waters. Now they’re throwing spaghetti at the wall with a lot of the startups in their new classes. It’s wild they would call marketplaces, a model applicable for infinite number of applications, a tarpit when one of their biggest dogs Airbnb crushed it and paved the way for other huge marketplaces. Purely software businesses are big and mean revenue generators but there are just some things you cannot do on a server. Gathering users to fulfill actions or orders on your marketplace is something you can’t develop, it requires real marketing efforts, but this moat of effort provides some opportunity for those willing to identity their market and take a shot

to anybody who doesnt think hes right imagine this. its the future. if you want a cool app to , idfk, scan your fridge for recipes, you simply open chat gpt, ask it to make the app for you, and within a couple seconds you get the fully functional app connected and ready for you to use. obviously were not really close to that now but you get the point - thats where were headed clearly applications that exclusively provide utility as software and dont really involve the real world are going to become worth a lot less. and as for ai wrappers specifically a lot of them are just really dumb and useless already. why would anyone pay you MONTHLY to scan the food in your fridge and give them recipes when they can pay open ai for a subscription, and not only solve that problem but get much much more? you guys need to think from the perspective of a neutral consumer. you need to really distancce yourself from whatever it is youre building and honestly ask yourself "would i buy this: and not only from the perspective of a consumer, but from the perspective of an investor or buyer. would you buy your ai saas gpt wrapper bullshit? do you think it has long term sustainability?
@joshuaadewale140913 сағат бұрын
This. Exactly what I have been thinking lately. People need an app that actually solves real world problems of people. You need to choose a target audience and think of what common issues they face. That's were you find the value in your product

essentially, if the future is one in which i can create any application that i want to use ever with a simple prompt, the focus needs to shift away from software only and try to focus on real world makes sense.

Bolt is the best option currently if you are a developer and know how to code, you can build full working saas applications in a couple hours, and even export the code to deploy it with your own services, refine the code, integrate it with what ever api there is or create your owns, and chose to deploy with a provider of your choice. If someone doesn't already know how to code then Bubble is the way, it's useless to learn how to code just for the sake of using bolt and other coding ai tools, but if like me you already got scammed by the matrix in getting a CS degree then bolt is the best option available

Hi , thanks for your video. I am traying to do something similar to what you did. I have my bubble app connected to stripe and I am able to make allow user to book a service with a seller and make the payment. Till that point it seems to be working fine as I can see the test money going into stripe. Now I need to set a schedule payment to go to the seller after the service is completed, apparently just like you did with the "schedule API workflow" and transfer to seller. At the moment when I create the step "transfer to seller" right after the "charge user" it is not working. I see a popup saying "Stripe error: Transfers using this transaction as a source must not exceed the source amount of €XX.XX." Do you have another video showing how you set this workflow in this video ? Thank you.
@ridiculousmarketplacesАй бұрын
Sounds like maybe you’re incorrectly using the “source charge ID” field on the transfer to seller action. It’s not a required field, leave it empty and try again
