I woul like to know what the possibility of get an accident by having a collision head with this month sail boat?

Uh, how about showing ONE completed tack or a jibe. Yes we know moths are fast on foils, but this video deliberately excludes the challenges of changing direction.

Having never sailed a foiling cat,these look extremely challenging downwind in these conditions to the point of been out of control 🤓🤓🤓🤓 happy to hear technical tips and (feel)

I can't imagine anything more fun than those little foilers. Just magical.

I had a dna f1 but was not able to foil stable on my gusty lake. I am a experienced a Cat sailor. I can kitefoil, wingfoil with no problems in the same conditions. May be the 2023 boats with newer foil design works better. A foil steering solution like the ifly has would be great.

Anybody knows what is that thing hanging on the bowsprit?
@ilovewindex4872 жыл бұрын
It senses the water hight and controls how high the boat should fly relative to the water.

I just now realized we could have put a hydrofoil on a crew rowing boat back when I was doing it in school. That would have been epic. Never thought of it.

Anywhere from 20-30 knots of boat speed depending on wind and boat

what is that hanging rod in the front?
@ilovewindex4872 жыл бұрын
The rod in the front is called the wand. The wand measures where the water is and then controls the hight of the boat.

UNITED STATES NAVY, you can, and you SHOULD weaponize this. It is a superior hullform for manned torpedo boats, and torpedo drones.
