Thermals with higher humidity will condensate lower than the average cloud base .. Thermals originating from an area which contains higher humidity on the surface than the surrounding terrain. Its going up.

I think its the plastic bushings over a steel bushing that’s causing that noise. They should just press in a brass or steel bushing and a shouldered pin bolt.

There was a bit more drama than revealed in the video. As a novice sailor, navigating a boat with one hand on the tiller stick and mainsheet in the other is complicated enough much less having to tow a floating rodent while filming on the phone. At some point 1 or 2 minutes into the tow rescue, I adjusted the sail and let go of the life jacket strap. Looked back to see the squirrel, the life vest, and my iPhone 12, floating away in the distance. I tacked a hard 180, sailed back upwind and arrived happy to see Mr Squirrel patiently waiting on the life vest and my cellphone underwater luckily still tethered by a string. After two passes, managed to grab the vest strap and commence with the rescue. The rest you see on the video.
