I don't think China's goal is about whether they have shinkansen trains or not. China's main goal is to lift its people out of poverty,which it did by lifting 800 million people. You cannot say the same about my continent of Africa whose rulers are the most useless ever. Their only goal is to steal their people's money and spend it in the west. Chinese rulers are exceptionally brilliant and they have transformed China into an economic jaggernaut that is shaking the world. I have tremendous respect for the Chinese men that rule this country. They have done a marvellous job of running China. I wish I could say the same for the men destroying Africa.

For a number of years now, China has had the fastest train. It's a maglev train from Shanghai that can reach speeds of 600 km/hr, but of course they don't actually operate it at such high speeds when passengers are aboard. Not unless you're saying that the Japanese have built a faster train since China introduced its fastest train.

The fastest chinese high speed trains run at or over 350km. Japanese high speed trains are slower than that. You cannot take a slow version of a Chinese train and said Chinese HST is no way faster than the Japanese ones.
@nigerianswithairmiles2 ай бұрын
Please don't misinterpret what I said to suit your argument. The train I took was not faster than the Japanese train I took. Nothing more, nothing less. This is the last I'm going to be talking about this matter.

You must be out of your freaking mind. YOU ARE GIVING MISINFORMATIONS. There are many levels of high speed trains in China -The one you took is not the fast one. These trains are categorized by the letters G, D, or C, followed by 2-4 digits. G and some C trains are the fastest, reaching speeds of 350 km/h, while D trains reach speeds of 250 km/h, and C trains reach speeds of 200 km/h. And do you know that China high speed train network is the largest in the world - 42,000 kms. Why don't you do some research. Jesus Christ. You have mislead people watching this video even though you are there.
@nigerianswithairmiles2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the info. I'll try to check out those high speed trains when I go back. To be clear, there was no misinformation in the video. The train I took was nowhere as fast as the Japanese high speed train. That's a fact. There are other high speed trains in China, like you mentioned, but those have nothing to do with the trains I took.

@@nigerianswithairmiles Misinformation was given about Chinese high speed train in this video but I don't think it is done purposely rather by ignorant. You didn't know about the various level of HST in China and you just lump the train that you took as the defacto speed and concluded that Chinese trains are slower than Japanese Shinkansen. That is a mistake. Anyway, Cheerio, nothing to add here. Enjoy your stay in China. BTW when you said that you didn't know that it is also a thing in China to have high speed train, my jaw dropped and I was in a state of shock for a minute. China's HST has been on the news for a decade now. What gives.
