The four gospels do not tell you how it is obtained. The end result of it meaning was later revealed as a mystery to Paul (Romans 16:25) Remember: Peter James and John did not understand the cross (Matthew 17; Mark 9; Luke 9 and as late as Luke 18:34; John 20) By Acts 8, Stephen is martyred, the Holy Ghost leaves Jerusalem and Saul is saved in the next chapter. Peter, James and John always preached the cross as a Jewish indictment, whereas Paul glories in the cross. Romans tells us Israel is set aside and blind until the Gentiles “come in.” Romans does tell us how we are saved today but beware of certain chapters that are written to a VERY and varied audience so some very Jewish subjects are dealt with. Just my opinions. 😉

God = Life By definition, there can be only one all-inclusive or Absolute Being (Life), in which all relative beings 'live', move and have their Being. Love is the conscious recognition (namaste') of our shared Being. Faith = Faithful to... John 1:1 - (paraphrase) - "The Word of Truth (Logos) is ever faithful (loyal, true, isomorphic) to Reality/Life (That which is/That I am). Exodus 3:14 - "I am That I am." I am That I am = I am That which is. I = which Am = is Reality = That which is. Life = That I am. Reality/Life = That which is/That I am.

For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. (Rom 7:18) If Paul is saying here he is incapable of doing what is right, how is it he is able to dictate this letter? Is he somehow trapped in his body and someone / something else is speaking?

Why is the Holy Spirit called the spirit when it acts more like the soul and not the spirit?

It feels like the soul and the spirit should be swapped because it feels like in terms of the Trinity the father is similar to the Soul, the Son the Body/Word, and the Holy Ghost the Spirit
