Hi my Friend is it possible that you can share the audios of the book ?
@languageslover440114 күн бұрын
Heyyyy, I don't have them sorry 🥲 I just bought the book for all the Assimil courses that I have. Since I have so many and I'm poor, I thought it would probably be safer to buy the books only. But you could probably try using Google Translate to get the pronunciation. That would be my best alternative if you don't have the audios. I wish I could help more though. 🥲 OR, they may be available online too. I remember seeing some a few years ago. Maybe they have some for this course too.

Hey there I'm debating whether I should buy myself the Assiml book of French taught in English, I've been seeing many mixed reviews by people who have already completed it they've been saying their proficiency is a mild B1 instead of B2 is this correct?
@languageslover440122 күн бұрын
Hey :) based on my experience, it really depends on how you use the method. If you limit yourself to a lesson each day, repeat the dialogues at least twice and then do the exercises, I believe it is possible to reach the level they promise you. Don't try to do too many at once! Also, try getting the recordings too. (I know it's more expensive, but it really comes in handy). I personally don't own any of the recordings, but I did find some online, tried it that way and it really paid off in my opinion.
@languageslover440122 күн бұрын
If you do all these, then I believe B2 is possible in about 3 months (100 lessons).

You can get great language audio input here on youtube with bilingual stories, they will read a sentence of a story in English then read the same sentence in target language. Polyglot Beats on youtube does that well for multiple languages and there other channels for specific languages... its been helping me get passive listening and learning when going on walks... time is by FAR hardest obstacle in language learning - anything that can get us some passive learning is a plus. 😊

I can confirm we have different personalities by language 😭. My psychologist asked me in our first session when i used every language i speak. Spanish (my first language) is my to-go when i just don't want to think. English when I get surprised. French when i get mad or I critique JAJAJ or if I'm trying to be enchanting. And italian when i fight with my mom (neither of us speaks good italian, we laugh).

Would you recommend doing 2 lessons a day?
@languageslover44015 ай бұрын
Trick question haha :) I'd say yeah maybe. If you think you probably won't be able to do a lesson one day, then I'd say do 2 lessons the previous day or the following day. The ideal goal is to go through a lesson each day because regularity is the key, but it is possible to run out of time a specific day. But, yeah, you can if you want.

The hardest part of Bulgarian is going to be the verbs, not so much the alphabet. Plus, Bulgarian has no case system like other Slavic languages do.

This makes it easier to learn than Russian too😊. Russian has the same alphabet and verbs but it also has cases. Learning Bulgarian is less discouraging than learning Russian haha.

Cheguei aqui pesquisando a respeito do método Michel Thomas. Abraço. 🇧🇷❤
