One of the books I’ve ever read. The movie tried, but cannot capture the essence of the book.

Hmm, no mention that Arsenic 3 is notably more toxic than the far more prevalent and naturally occurring Arsenic 5. Which was most certainly added to treated lumber early in its existence. My question, and I expect most peoples question is, is it still used at all, and if not, what exactly has replaced it? Somehow, im not at all reassured by the Corporate, Who?-What?-Not us!, guy.

She starts with dry hair cus the hair isn’t supposed to be super wet. It’s supposed to be damp. So if you recently showered and 30 mins have passed where your hair is midway dry but still damp, then that would be the appropriate amount of dampness. 😅 if you tried pinning your hair while fully wet the look would not work!

The reason for half up front has nothing to do with lack of credit or any of that and if he has been in the business for any significant amount of time he should know this. The reason for getting half up front is cover the cost of the materials and most of the hourly laborer's pay for the job. Then if anything at all should happen to cause the money to freeze, then the contractor isn't in the negative for the money spent on materials and wages. And these things happen all the time! Not getting half up front has caused me personally to be out $2000 AND a week of my own labor to boot. If someone has everything in order and building a house there is absolutely no reason they shouldn't be able to have half of the drywall up front.

Daniel, do you put a gap between the shake or not for water to drain or so cedar can dry out

I’ve got mixed signals on how to do the siding whether to leave a gap between the shingles or not. I see that you have a gap I saw in another video. They say you need a little gap for the water to drain and allow the shingles to dry out. I live in the Pacific Northwest a lot of rain, but then I noticed some people put them as close as they can together which way is a proper way to prevent any damage.

Maybe dumb question but you cut off 3" of rafter You don't replace that. Now the ends won't match to th3 other side end. End of video th3 fascia from the other side is sticking out past the side you repaired.
