Beautiful gen 3. It's awesome seeing these get some love. Keeping the stock 305 and making it a better driver and more comfortable is such a great way to have a reliable ride that is also a head turner without taking out a second mortgage.
@beardedreviews19 сағат бұрын
You get it :) There's no need to go for a 10 second quarter mile with everything you build. It's just cool to have old classic daily drivers

Beautiful car, love the 3rd gens. I have an 83 with a LS swap / drive-line. Car is a joy to drive, I have kept the car all original with some of the upgrades like cup holder where the ashtray was, and some LED upgrades etc. Basically made it how GM should have built it. I agree the 3rd Gens are the best, especially being nearly 400 lbs. lighter than 2nd gens. Cheers!

Hi, thanks for your video, it is very informative and eye opening, i hope you will be able to assist with my question: for a small garage which would be better to have on hand between the Topdon Topscan Pro and the Foxwell NT630 Plus OBD2

I'm not familiar with the foxwell machine, so I honestly couldn't give you a correct answer on that.

Just buy some Jack pucks jack it up on the side where you're supposed to then put the jack stand under that support beam
@beardedreviews2 күн бұрын
....or buy one jack instead of multiple?
@dutchyjhome3 күн бұрын
Hey nice video as usual! I noticed you putting this hick round black piece of foam into the front door (better sound?) and additionally around the speaker as well, why did you choose not to do so at the rear speaker install?
@beardedreviews2 күн бұрын
In the rear, there is nowhere else for the sound to go but out. In the front there is a gap between the front of the speaker and the door panel where sound can travel out into the the empty area of the door instead of into the cabin, so the thick foam ring seals that gap and makes all the sound come out into the cabin

My buddy bought an 86 iroc z for parts with blown motor was about to send it to the scrapyard and I asked how much they'd give him for it he said 3 to 400 bucks we locked in a deal for 350...so now I have my first project and I'm geeked
@beardedreviews4 күн бұрын
Dude that's sweet. You can get an old motor and trans and shove it in there and if it's a real IROC you can make big money on it or just keep it forever

Appreciate the video. Just installed these on mine. Waiting for the positaps to get here to do the drl and the turning signals. I think blue is for the turn signals right? I've seen some people wire up the low beams on the center too but I'm not sure if i want to do that or not.

I'm not totally sure. I never tried to hook the turn signals up. Just the DRLs and main lights
