It's about a 1/3 mile north of the Hancock Rd. / Ames Rd. intersection in Canterbury...not sure but I think that's still considered Hancock Rd. going towards Old Gilmington / Snowshoe Hill Rd. There's an old homestead cellar very nearby. Covered well too.

Yes, she developed a large tumor on the lower leg. After surgery they thought it might stay away but it didn’t. They then wanted to remove her leg but I said no. That was going on 4 years ago and she seems to deal with it reasonably well. Thanks for your comment.

I get what your saying😂 but I honestly don't think that's what these was for. My guess would be that the person punched a hole in the bottom of them. Some people punch a hole to let the oil drain out before removing it. It's too avoid making a mess when you take the filter off. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.

We had the same thought but holes appeared to be punched from outside and not the inside. Nice catch!
