With an apology to the 23 who liked the original and to Dave Hodgkiss for his kind remarks, but noticed a spelling error and an over exposed clip of the Glossy Ibis - both now rectified on a latest upload.

South on A38, just before Huntspill River bridge right turn onto service rd that parallels the Huntspill, cross over Sloway Lane (ignoring no public access) & continue on service rd to Huntspill Sluice, where road turns sharply right, then in 200 yds park in pull-in on right. Walk across rd and up on to grass seawall to view the Estuary. Then drive further north on service rd until it turns sharp right (towards sewage works) park carefully on left & walk up track over grass seawall for access to small pools between the grass seawall & the concrete seawall.

Many thanks Dave, so pleased you liked it. Of the 3 egret species on The Levels, they are by far the most numerous, but in really hard winter when the ground is frozen for some time, they almost disapear. Going back to France/Spain we suspose?

I don't know the Somerset Levels, I've spent some time on the Newport Wetlands site across the channel, I was amazed at the numbers of Cettis Warblers, a bird that was not heard when I was younger. I've seen Egrets in South Wales, but not the variety there seems to be in Somerset.
@somsvid4 ай бұрын
Yes, Cetti's are common in suitable habitat on the Somerset Levels. GW Egrets 1st bred in 2012 and are now wide-spread across the Levels, c.90 nests this year! Cattle Egrets have found it to their liking having 1st bred in 2008 (1st for UK) and now number c.450 in winter counts.

Original as viewed by 12 subscribers had 3 rendering (converting) errors: two 5-sec black screens that should have been 1-sec fades, and loss of end title background scene. These corrected and re-uploaded to KZbin.
