You have a true gift for storytelling and as a fellow KZbinr (also named Rachel, and having ME/CFS, funnily enough) I am SO JEALOUS! 💜😆❤️ I can’t wait to continue watching you and you team’s work! Thanks for sharing everything and helping to raise awareness. I know how hard it is as the KZbin algorithm tends to shun us, for whatever reason..

Thank you so much, that honestly means so much to me. And thank you for mentioning the team, all the cast, camera and sound operators, runners, composers etc give their time up for free because they heard the struggle those of us diagnosed with M.E face and wanted to do something about it. Thank you yourself for sharing your experiences on KZbin, as you say it sometimes doesn’t feel like the platform for meaningful discussions through videos…but you continue to do so, so huge credit to you!

I saw your KZbin advert & tried searching on your really 'cute' name and your channel didn't even come up KZbin search It was only when I typed in this specific episode that I finally found you. And your name is cute & described your channel perfectly but I am wondering if its the reason why your subscribers are so low?? The videos are utterly utterly amazing, your production quality is utterly out of this world, its the sort of thing I would expect to see on Channel 4. Have you seen this youtu. be/3f50WcUwX48 about changes in how KZbin works and how to pick up subscribers BTW I have mates who have had M.E I've known lawyers who gone from partner in the city to being in bed. My housemate had M.E and I had Chronic Fatigue (not M.E) for at least 14 years. Hence the interest & also why I am utterly terrified of Long Covid! I am going to pass this onto a mate who was one of the first people from the UK to get Long Covid and ask if she has seen this

Awww thank you so much. Honestly I really appreciate that. I really do pride myself on the quality of the show, I wanted to make something on a tiny, tiny budget, feel like it was made for a much higher budget. I think our subscribers are lower then ideal for a variety of reasons, a lot of the people who watch it either watch it on Facebook instead, or they just watch the episode without subscribing. I think also as for the promotion of the show, I’m just a team of 1, and am working on this alongside jobs, and editing the show, I just never have enough time to build up the following. But thank you so much for passing it on, for watching and for leaving such lovely feedback.

Hi, it’s not really the name of our podcast. Our podcast is a side project connected to our web drama series called ‘M.E, Myself and I’. We don’t have the name trademarked...however I would recommend for your own and our sake... not to use the same name for a scripted drama, as it will lead to brand confusion for both yourself and us. Our drama series has won multiple awards and been featured in multiple press brands...however if you aren’t doing a drama series or anything like that, then that’s cool. Good luck and thanks for letting me know. 😊

I like that you showed how in the other film that noise can be a trigger and how the isolation is difficult and how family can perceive you and your health in this one shows how sometimes it gets so bad that you/ one can't brush your teeth alone and other times you can't face food. Then that 'Beth's said how bad it can be as well . I keep fighting still but times it's just so HARD to want carry on, when every effort is thwarted, thank you for sharing this film, I hope people see it andc'get it'! And not just those in the m.e community. I bet you were all exhausted after all this!

Thank you so much for the kind comments on both episodes, it really does mean a lot. I’m so sorry you are going through this illness. My hope for both episodes was to tell as many experiences of M.E and represent as much as possible. I think it’s really important to see ourselves represented in all forms of media so that we don’t feel alone, so it really moves me that how you felt.

This is honestly more than I was able to do for almost 2 years. I couldn't sit up for more than 5 minutes, couldn't make my own breakfast or stay standing to brush my teeth, couldn't wear jeans (only pjs). But boy is it nice to see something about ME being portrayed! Now I'm able to sit up for a few hours sometimes, I can brush my teeth, I occasionally make my own meals (with help) and my cognitive issues are clearing up a lot. Thank you for making this. ❤

Thank you so much for doing this. I kept my illness to myself for years mostly because I didn’t want to make others feel uncomfortable. Once I learned millions were suffering like I was, and many much worse, I realised my keeping silent was just adding to the invisibility of this disease. It’s time we all share our stories with the world 💙💙💙🙏

Could not agree more, we have been silent for too long and often that’s not been because we want to be silent, it’s been because the media has been uninterested in our stories.

Well done! I really related to having to spend the night in a toilet with my hands over my ears while my favourite 80s band from my teenage years played a reunion concert a few years back. I had been looking forward to that concert for over 6 months. Such a cruel and devastating disease.

Thank you, yeah it so cruel, and throughout this journey have been surprised how many similar moments many sufferers have faced, that concert scene for me was a football game, but within the story turned it into a concert in the hopes to be more universal. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Lovely video mate. Hope a lot more people will have a better understanding, and that we can use all this to promote M.E. awareness. I've had different experiences with illness obviously, but I feel like I can relate to the isolation aspect a lot too
