Very good, but I would like to see a capsize, wet exit, then get back in.

Idiots. And I'm saying that as a sea kayaker.

We had a guy at a school I went to who wouldn’t let you have a paddle until you could hand roll lol.

It would be very difficult on a narrower performance kayak. A lot more paddle action would be required.

Why the AWFUL music? Spoils a good film.
@ALFarrell-kv6ok11 ай бұрын
Agreed. The only appropriate or needed 'music' in this is the sound of the waves.

Thanks for your idea and video. I just completed "shortening" a different pump by following your directions. Very easy to do.

Really nifty system but only two kayaks on such a big van! For Shame! Seems like 7 would fit up there easy.

The cross bow rudder is my favourite and, for me, the most powerful in turning the kayak.
@BillVonnegut Жыл бұрын
Yep, works great when you are moving to fast for a regular bow rudder to be used

This is what we needed when we had our camper van. Seems a much simpler solution that hullavators and the like. Storing this away in case we are lucky to get another one (or can fix the collapsed front suspension on our old one).

I’m sure the break was due to impact that no carbon paddle could be expected to survive. But out of curiosity what type of paddle was it?
@BillVonnegut2 жыл бұрын
It was a 1 piece Werner Ikelos, much of the time I use my Stakine WW paddle but had loaned it to someone that day

Why the kayak doesn't get pushed back by the water?
@CheekyMonkey88810 ай бұрын
gravity, it s a standing wave, caused by a boulder below the surface, as long as you stay before the wave crest gravity will keep you fixed

How do you train for this?
@BillVonnegut2 жыл бұрын
In a swimming pool or flat water with easy access to shore. Practice until you feel confident you can hit every roll solid, not just barely making it. Then it’s time to take it into conditions
@GoneKayaking2 жыл бұрын
