Hi Heidi, while I strongly agree with you on this but I beg to differ on the fact that the resume should not resemble the job description and here is the reason why: today most of the companies have ATS mechanism to screen out the irrelevant resumes which basically is done my matching the key words that are common to the JD and the resume. The higher the matching percentage the more likely it is to pass through the ATS screening. Would like to hear your thoughts on this.
