Well that producer needs to learn what hardtechno is😂😅 This sure ain't hard techno😂 it ain't even techno.. using a loud bass doesn't mean it's techno.. this is still trance

Brother, It is a new subcategory that has been on the rise since 2019. It is something between techno and trance, that is why they have called it hard techno. The dark techno is also something different. Also play role and the bpm. This tracks is 148. A pure melodic trance track or a harder trance track that falls into the category of trance officially does not exceed 140 Then we also have the psytrance which ranges around 145

@@Musicmaxgr Hi man, first i would like to tell you that i appreciates your remix, it's cool, just a little bit more loud bass than the original and still respect the original, which is a good way to insert this "retro trance" track in a more accurate mix set. But as a DJ since 1999 (start at 13, 38 today, time passes so quick) and as a club owner, i would like to comment some points : 1. Hard Techno is NOT a new subcategory of Techno since 2019... What a joke ?!? You can find releases labelized has hard techno since 1992 everywhere in the world, especially in my homeland : Belgium ! and Nederlands of course. 2. 90's hard techno didn't sound like actual hard techno. Some are speaking about EDM, commercial electro, hard trance maybe, etc.... even R'n'B tracks that are in Top40 on big radios are considered as Pop Music (wtf hell is it ....) or re-labelized as Urban Music (which litteraly means "music from the city" which is a no sense). So, don't be too worry about how people or listening platforms will classify your purposes. Just do what you like. BUT : you still have to learn a little bit on history and theory about electronic music if you want to be considered by your pairs (i mean that young producers can't say "old dj's are old men, i am young so i will re-define what is electronic music for my time and don't take care about what elders done and theorized before me in electronic music" it's about generationnal respect between artists) For the little History : the term "Techno" appears for the first time in 1984 with "Cybotron - Techno City" and became popular with the release "Techno - The New Dance Sound of Detroit" in 1988 and the Underground Resistance label foundation in 1990. If you want to learn more about the story, you can read that book : www.amazon.fr/Electrochoc-English-Laurent-Garnier-ebook/dp/B076ZFQX9L Also, music classification is more about the spirit (which includes visual identity of a track) than the sound properly. Is this Trance or Rave ? Tribe or Goa ? depends on the energy and the spirit of the track. 3. I don't understand style classification based on bpm. techno music exists still 1988 and the machines at this time had no sync, no master clock, no bpm clearly visible on a screen or something and on a vinyle player you can't see it right ? only -8/+8 % and your ears. And what about rock, hard rock or metal ? No one knows in a rock band which bpm they play...... they just play and use their ears to know if they are in rythm together. That's why i often heard young DJ's saying "man there's a problem with the CDJ, the bpm moves alone as i didn't touch anything". Normal; cause retro tracks wasn't recorded with a linear bpm, it moves during the track.... "So how these artists did that ?" .... By trusted their ears... nothing else. But i understand what you mean as the "download music websites" use the bpm to classify music but that's also a no-sense 4. As i said, classification of electronic music is a no-sense as classification and style names are canstantly changing and moving in time but it is not totally true : there is a technical approach with some theorized criterias (at least at the origins, for US Techno). This is about inspirations, variations-in-time, etc... but there is a one, that in my opinion, IS STILL an important point to keep in mind today if you want to produce Techno Music (no matter if US, UK, EU or from an other universe) : bring triplet into 4/4. (which will creates this particular sensation of a "carrousel effect" in the sound, sorry i don't know how to say that differently in English). It's about the particular groove applied on Hi-Hats and Mid-Tom but now with the most mao softwares you can compose only in 4/4 and apply a groove on your sound (the "groove pool" in Abe, for example) and produce the same effect but on analog machines like 909, 808 and others, it was necessary if you wanted to obtain this particular groove (a 909 in 4/4, an other in triplet and the two machines played together - with one needed to be shifted because of no sync possibility, that's the reason why the track "The Bells" of Jeff Mills has no intro, even if it's a late one : 1996 - but it was already construct as a "back in source" track) So, this little bit long post to tell you that you or/and the artist behind this remix have to learn more about what your pairs done before and about evolution of electronic music.... And don't give too much importance about music classification. (even if i understand that it is difficult if you want your track to appear in a "precised" category on certain platforms) In conclusion : i liked it, but i also confirm the commentary of @RS81NL, it sounds more as bigroom techno with the Drumcode loud kick; like the Charlotte De Witte remix of "Age of Love" and it's okay for me ! But calling this "hard techno" it's not really that energy...
