yep, I think the lighter gun is easier to swing faster and more accurately between targets

Good job Corey, I wonder how interesting this type of competition would be if there was a forced reload included in each set? maybe with a mag limit?

they have different divisions that have different mag limits. I reloaded in 4 of the 6 stages in this video because of round count.

Classifiers often require reloads also. They are stages that get set up around the country the same way so that you can compare your performance against shooters nationally

Had issues with it extracting so i ditched it. They still dont sell the replacement extractor spring afaik. The guy that bought the gun used a shadow extra power spring to fix it after canik called it good after 18 rounds when I sent it back

Man, I have to pick your brain next time as to the choices you made on Stage 1 and 2 shooting those middle targets from there.. What is the benefit? I need to learn these things 🤣

@@PapaTBatonrouge most of what you see me doing is playing to my strengths while avoiding my weaknesses. We’ll have to squad together one of these matches so I can explain what I’m thinking in real time.

@@PapaTBatonrouge a lot of the time my plan will differ from some of the other top guys solely because I don’t feel comfortable with one aspect. Bay 1 stage 1 I didn’t want to back up so I just ran across the back out the gate to avoid backing up. When we started in the front on stage 2 I had no choice. And the back up on the right was easier than the one on the left. Some folks might have the better plan, but I know I can execute mine better. If that makes sense.

@@PapaTBatonrouge in the front of those stages I wanted to move while shooting the middle. So I left the tux and the open target on the left until the final position so I could shoot it flat footed. And just breeze through the open targets up front while moving across to that last position.

I actually didnt keep the dot because i sold the gun it was on with it. But I did like it, and would use it again. I run rts2's on my current guns.

@@CTrain You are such a fine shooter. I'm having a 507Comp put on my gun (not as fancy as your gun). Had an SRO on it but the glass blew out. I couldn't wait for Trijicon to replace it so thought I'd try the Comp.

@@tdbarton7712 solid choice, just make sure to put some thread locker on the battery door screw. Seen a few eject themselves mid stage.
