1:54 the game day goals would be more immersive if they updated the goals so that it was more realistic to what an NFL team game plans. Limiting third down conversions, creating pressure, limiting yards after catch, etc. Some of these haven’t been changed ever since they created this feature. Especially if it actually works like you explain.

This game needs and upgrade in franchise in a major way but I never feel cheated within the gameplay the way I do playing Madden. It doesn’t seem like it’s already predetermined. What’s gonna happen on a specific pitch or play in this game? And you can actually use some game strategy that matters rather than just having a bunch of superstars. I just wish they would let you go deeper into the game day, managing and roster building.

41:30 how is it that the defensive back makes a play on the ball before the wide receiver 90% of the time on routes like that? The DB gets a quick turnaround animation while the wide receiver looks like he’s trying to pivot in mud while making no attempt to even jump for the ball. Typical of ai team always getting the better animations

I don't think Jones is awful. The Giants (Gettleman) brought him in to be a PA running QB with Saquon Barkley to limit the pressure. But the Giants didn't build an OLine, went to a pass first offense, and started musical coaches. So I don't think we've seen what Jones can really do.

I understand WHY you would want Madden to a Realistic Simulation(because its fun!), how did you come up with the idea? It looks fun. Is 0 QB accuracy too overpowered? Or can you see a realistic difference among different tiers of quarterbacks? Example being QBs like Mahomes and Burrow not being outdone by a 68 ovr QB or where you see better QBs making more difficult throws (the player ratings actually matter). The Pass Rush also looks really good!

@@DAGGETT062891 three Maddens ago I wanted to see if removing the sliders would reduced the shifting and sliding in player movement. What I saw, especially in cpu-cpu, is the higher rated teams usually won. This is my first real attempt with Madden 25. And I'll try the same sliders with CFB 25 after I settle Madden. I'm going to do more testing and will post the results. I'll keep an eye on QB efficiency according to ratings. I'll use the Chiefs against bad teams and good teams in cpu-cpu. Then play more games myself in franchise. Thanks for the input

The answer to your AI quarterback question is yes. These sliders can hold an average QB to realistic accuracy. It's not so much the sliders( any slider set) but how we choose coach goals, strategy, and in game play calling. I have a game going up where I hold the All Madden QB to 60%.

The shocker is it played out exactly as it should according to the ratings. My receiver is 85 OVR with 93 spd. The corner is 81 OVR with 88 spd, and no help over the top. The receiver should win that at least least 60%. Good patch by EA 👍

lol, just came across this myself. There's no way anyone tested the Skills Trainer portion of the game for any amount of time. I've already encountered at least a handful of bugs like this in the different drills. Just plain pathetic.

I’ve only played a few hours of play now on the trial. I’m not willing to buy the game with the state Dynasty is in. I read a review from IGN that the only way to do either the practice drills or the skill drills is to go into the ultimate team mode. Is that true? I want that game to be good but now it just seems like they hurried the game.

27:27 totally agree it looks like some child drew the plays. And they’re horribly designed as far as the play art. I don’t get why they only decided to show three players at a time. You almost have to shorten the quarters and extend the play clock so that you have time to cycle through all the pre-play adjustments that you can make because it isn’t just one or two clicks

21:52 Guarantee that doesn’t happen when user is on defense. Needs to be fixed in M25. Same thing on the screen passes how they steer your running back or receiver into the lineman as they’re blocking to prevent you from using the open running lanes.

Let me give EA benefit of the doubt. The center who blew that block isn't a scheme fit. He's a subpar pass blocker both fitness and power, and only in his 2nd season. The left guard is as bad as the center in pass blocking. Still EA needs to show poor pass blocking ratings other than just having linemen just dumb out

0:55 what college football 25 proves is that the core Madden game is a lost cause or they have purposely not upgraded franchise mode. because if you believe all the marketing, so far franchise mode will be the best mode. It’s been in over 10 years. Time will tell, but at least it shows that their lack of attention to franchise was not because of lack of options but the lack of commitment.
