I was born and raised in Indiana... Garrett Indiana to be exact..two and a half hours from speedway Indiana..my grandparents took me to the speedway to go to the museum and take a lap around the track on the little white buses when I was 10 years old..I still have the checkered flag that my grandparents bought me at the museum that day.. it's on the wall of my man cave... I'm now almost 63 years old..I have been to 30 consecutive Indy 500s and more than 40 qualifications...all three of my children started going to the speedway at a young age and they have been to many Indy 500s...some of my most special memories are from race mornings with my kids sitting on the spectators mounds early in the morning watching the grandstands fill up over the course of race day...just one of my stories real quick....I can remember being on pit road watching Al Unser Jr going out for his very first qualification run for the 500...what I remember was the total focus that was in his eyes..it was like nothing I had ever seen..you could cut the tension with a knife it was really that palatable...there is no place like Indy and there is no race like the Indy 500...when you see 300 thousand people stand to there feet for the playing of the national anthem it's very emotional...I always cry when they play taps... I'm a veteran and it always moves me....🏎️🏎️🏎️

Kyle Larson will definitely complete the Memorial Day weekend successfully just like Tony Stewart did in 2001. Thanks for hosting the podcast tonight Sawyer as we’re 6 episodes away from the 100th episode of the LarsonLand Podcast series on all things Kyle Larson as we can’t wait for 1100 miles to be driven by Yung Money come Sunday Sunday Sunday

Hey guys,93 episodes on LarsonLand is so good and I enjoy the content of how you talk of the 2021 cup champ Kyle Larson as the victory Monday segment is always great to start off the episode each time Larson wins. What a close finish in nascar history between Larson/Buescher since I witnessed the Jimmie Johnson/Clint Bowyer four wide photo finish at Talladega in April 2011 so I’ve witnessed two of my favorite drivers in a 13 year span of NASCAR’s fantastic finishes in the history of the sports 76 years of stock car racing!! Congratulations Kyle,Cliff,Tyler and the fabulous 5 team on win #2 of the nascar cup series as we’re the regular season points leader by almost 30 points ahead of the 19 car of Martin Truex JR as we’re almost halfway through the regular season coming into Darlington this weekend for throwback time!! He has a NXS race win in the spring and won the Southern 500 last fall as we hope to get a spring cup series win there and make up for what happened at the end of last years spring race ordeal. A fantastic race last night and let’s go Larson!!

What’s up guys love the pod, I’m huge Kyle Larson fan I have followed him basically basically his whole career. I hope I get to see Kyle Larson at the high limit series August 28th @ grays harbor raceway. It’s a Wednesday. Night race. I got to meet him 4 or 5 years ago when he did a world of outlaws near me.

Hey guys, great job with the podcast as always as we’re closing in on 100 episodes on all things 2021 cup series champ Kyle Larson as he did great with starting at the tail end of the field and being on the lead lap at the end of stage 1 as getting stage points in stage 2 was important for a top 3 finish but the overall result wasn’t as what we expected of it but at the drafting tracks we don’t have any good fortune until getting the 21st place result and completing the full distance. I’ll be present for the monster mile and watching both Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Larson,alongside 35 other guys who will try to survive miles the monster as let’s see if either one can get a win but for Johnson to win in the 84 car and claim that 84th career win would be huge as if Larson were to win on Sunday it would be my first Larson win in person. Thank you guys for all your hard work and dedication to produce and share all things racing related on Larson as I’m looking forward to seeing both Johnson/Larson on track in Dover alongside episode 93 ahead of next week.

There should be mandatory gas stops. Keeps the tanks full and keep the guys racing as fast as possible.
@markraynor81426 ай бұрын
Hey Sawyer,I gotta say that the pit crew ruined the race for us to win for sure but a tire was flat but the good thing about the beginning of the race was the stage 1 victory and led those first 77 of 80 laps as the 21st place run wasn’t what we expected in recovery from the penalty based on a race that was filled with yellow flags. Larson looked so fast in his Indy 500 test at about 230mph so hopefully we’ll witness him get Indy 500 rookie of the year and complete the doubleheader on Memorial Day successfully. Talladega is a tough one especially on drafting tracks where Larson has had bad luck except for the fourth place finish two years ago in the spring race of 2022 but hopefully that’ll change on Sunday in Lincoln County. 91 episodes is very interesting to witness and view since you guys created it two years ago and looking forward to more episodes ahead including next week.

Hey guys 90 episodes of this show is really good and what a fantastic day for everyone at Hendrick Motorsports getting a 1-2-3 and 8 place results on the 40th anniversary of the Hendrick organization as the Indy 500 test is happening tomorrow and Thursday as hopefully Larson’s test out there goes smoothly in a pack of cars as I’m hoping that a Texas lone star will shine upon the 5 team’s consistency since they’re the regular season points leader once again and hopefully we’ll get win #2 of the season after 267 laps 400 miles around The Great American Speedway in Fort Worth!! I actually thought last year's fall race was decent, I know I'm in the minority but I think spring Martinsville has always sucked. 2019 spring was the worst race I've ever seen.

I was at the race and sat right at the end of pit road, I'd like to know how Kyle's team didn't get a penalty for a loose tire out of the pit box! Don't remember if it was the first or second stop, but the right front tire definitely rolled out of the box after hitting the inner pit wall and then rolled into the opening where the pace car parked. I remember last season this happened to someone else and they got penalized.

He clearly jumped a whole car length before the line watch Truexs in car camera. Truex actually says he jumped as soon as he went

Cliff said the tires were from different zip codes... So maybe they were manufactured from different plants. not sure what that means
@jg_promotions58277 ай бұрын
Mismatched set of tires = tires that measure different making it difficult to get the right amount of stagger with the preferred tire pressures. A BS caution that screwed Cliffs strategy in the second stage and a bad set of tires in the final stage cost Larson the win.

Sawyer and Dylan are you going to cover Kyle practice this week at Indy?
@markraynor81427 ай бұрын
Hey guys,89 episodes on the podcast are complete and a good podium result despite being dominate early and winning the first stage led 144 laps as the pit strategy got ruined by a caution for a wall scrape then getting spun with only two laps left in regulation but a top 3 finish is very good. Runner up in the point standings of the regular season so far to start the season with the win in Vegas last month and can’t wait to see what happens in Martinsville this upcoming weekend for Hendrick Motorsports 40th Anniversary Celebration. 🎉 Let’s go Larson!!!

@doylebbq43297 ай бұрын
there are only 5 road courses, if we have to have half the schedule being superspeedways we can deal with 5 of 38 races being road courses lol. Watching the driver on board cameras showed there was lots of action going on, Fox just doesn't know how to cover a race. A lot of the cup drivers have improved at road racing, that's why you don't see as much chaos. At least road courses show true driving talent.

As a Larson fan I would take KS and homestead every week though lol

That xfinity race was great, the last lap was awesome, what a talent kyle is, the cup race for me was the poorest race this year. First time watching this podcast 👍
@doylebbq43297 ай бұрын
watch the on board driver cameras during a race, that race Sunday was very interesting watching that way, Fox and TV doesn't do a good job of covering the race
@Bogues_887 ай бұрын
You didn't win shit. SVG won and pathetic fragile US losers couldn't fkn stand it so took him out. Beyond pathetic, Larson should have called out that bullshit two fake cautions and intentional ramming . Can't respect you to celebrate winning by others cheating. It's a shame because I would support you for 2nd ... This is just pathetic you know full well who was the best and fastest driver that day on a track you have raced on multiple times. No excuses like Chicago. Man up and tell the truth Larson if you have any integrity.
@markraynor81427 ай бұрын
Hey guys 88 episodes on the podcast is so far so great 😃. I’m so glad that Kyle got the win in the 17 car on Saturday as Sundays race was a turn of events from the 20 car spinning us out which ended our day and finishing 17th as we need to not have stage breaks on road courses like it was last year except for the Roval during the playoffs and track limit penalties for cutting the course is ridiculous as if your forced off the course by accident it shouldn’t be a penalty as if you were forced down below the yellow line on Daytona and Talladega you weren’t supposed to get penalties at that point in time so,I’m glad that we heard Larson get that NXS win on Saturday and not the finished we were witnessing yesterday but onto Richmond for Easter Sunday and hopefully we can repeat the victory with the phoenix tire package and have a better car setup than the Phoenix car setup which was a dismal performance for all the Hendrick cars throughout that event. Thanks so much for all you both do in talking about all things Kyle Larson each and every week and looking forward to the recap on the action track in the 89th episode of LarsonLand right here on KZbin.

86 episodes on this amazing podcast has been great and Phoenix did suck yesterday for sure especially how the car handled and the pit stops on the rear lug nuts weren’t getting tight as glad that Larson did finish P14 at the end of it all as we’re off to thunder valley where it’s one of Larson’s favorite places and can’t wait to see if he can become a winner of two of the previous three races in a week on the young season and thanks again for all you do as always!!
