What’s Dr Greenberg’s “ideal” treatment?
@ggstylz
@ggstylz 3 күн бұрын
I appreciate some of Dr Greenbergs ideas, but I’ve also noticed an unusual amount of inconsistency and contradictions in them as well. I also think his critique of ERP is flawed and this is concerning, because it risks influencing OCD sufferers in dismissing its efficacy, which millions of people around the world have voluntarily embraced successfully. Most people who are reluctant to fully participate in ERP, have a tendency to rationalise it as being limited in its efficacy, because of their inability to accept the discomfort involved. In my estimation as someone with OCD since 1990, the reluctance to practice ERP could be construed as the mother of all avoidances.

The part about feeling as though God is pressuring you to humiliate yourself in the weirdest possible way is so true haha.

ERP made my OCD worse, i have 4 themes and all that happened was the OCD keep shifting between them and then started to ritualize the exposures as well. ERP done everyday turns into compulsions. hours everyday of ERP to relieve obsession anxiety is the same as hours everyday doing compulsions. it's still an OCD cycle.

5𝟎𝟎% 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬!🚀🚀 Greetings Jaimie! I overviewed your KZbin Channel and saw you have uploaded 96 videos. Your Latest videos are merely getting a Thousand views which is a very bad engagement for a channel having 2.3K Subscribers. Your channel, with an impressive 2.3K subscribers and 96 videos, has immense potential that’s currently untapped due to basic thumbnails. A thumbnail is your video’s first impression, and on a platform as competitive as KZbin, it needs to grab attention instantly. Clickbait thumbnails, when done right, aren’t about misleading viewers-they’re about maximizing curiosity and compelling clicks while staying true to your content. With your current view count at just 500 per video, a powerful thumbnail strategy could be the game-changer you need. I specialize in creating high-quality, visually striking thumbnails that stand out, boost click-through rates, and can increase engagement by up to 500%. Let’s transform your channel’s performance and turn your videos into must-watch content! I have attached the links to my samples for your kind Consideration. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1evTKigXmncW7EDSv0laDqj_Jrt8elwtp?usp=sharing Message me and I Can create a Free Thumbnail for you to give you an idea about my Designing Skills. Hi, I just posted a blog this weekend. I haven't posted any videos recently because parts of my house are under construction. Sometimes I was going outside to film but now it's snowing and I am a wimp to make videos outside in the cold. :D We are almost finished with the space where I am going to put my camera and work computer and I hope to create more content soon. Please feel free to make topic suggestions for upcoming blog posts and/or videos!

I ask because I’m a little nervous. What kind of information is available to make sense of my understanding? Beliefs in religion can really lead people a stray. It’s a slippery slope, because what can make us feel great, can also feel so miserable.

I ask because I care and looking for honest thought and question. Is it possible that religion could be a root cause of mental illness and addiction for people?

Thank you so much for your videos, Miss Jaimie. If you haven't made any type of content about this yet, do you think that you could make a blog post or video about the fear of God, please? Jesus, in Luke 12:4-7, says a lot about fear: That we should, that we shouldn't... I can put some pieces together, but I could use your insight. Thank you again for your videos.
