KH is the US version of Polly Harvey. Both totally unique, committed, uncompromising and most of all talented. Superb artists and musicians/songwriters.

One of the most influential artists of the 80s and 90s, still so resonant, making rock like nobody else. Raw, frightening and pure heaven. Kristen Hersh continuing to say to the music industry "fuck you, I will not be the cute, polite pop-rock, child-woman you demand." Fantastic stuff.

Still here in 2022. Since 15 years old this woman is a guide. Now I'm pushing 40 but still very much vital and relevant as ever. Great album. All.killer no filler. She can basically do any style. Amazing memoir also which i still fucking had it (narcissist abuser mother threw all my music and books away but she never took shit away from me but some moving fees.)
