@@PatChatASMR Honestly not too bad. I'm working 40 hours a week and don't really have a ton of time for anything else besides a few hours of gaming a night with a couple of friends. I'm down to catch up on Discord sometime if you have it. I'm on a second shift schedule right now, so mostly active late at night from like 12 am to around 4 am. My Discord is the same as my youtube handle, except with no numbers, if you wanna chat.

I know they have an instagram as well so maybe figure out a way to contact them and ask about it (if you cant find it on etsy). I wonder if they remember me, they said at the time that I was the first person to get a whole set haha

Thanks! Honestly cant help you on that front since I havent played it haha but honestly in retrospect it doesnt look all that good. Apparently its half a visual novel (which Im fine with) and half a resource management game where you collect resources to make various clothing for the characters lol. I should try it at some point just to know whether its bad or OK 😂

Very close to that, you had to half close the screen and look at the reflection of the top screen on the bottom screen (or vice versa) and the combination of what was displayed on both screens was the answer (or something like that)

If you're wondering who this is, my username used to be TheJapanCodeASMR! I've been wanting to change username because I didn't like it (duh) and it felt kinda strange to have "Japan" in my username (like, having a country name in my username feels weird, especially since I'm not even from there haha) so decided to change to something a bit more personal. PatChat is a portmanteau of my real name, and the nickname I used to have in high school, used so much that even some of my friends didn't remember what my real name was lol. So there you go! (change might not be visible to everyone just yet so I'll be posting this in the next few videos as well)

Something very different to anything I've ever done on this channel (or any channel really)! I was trying to decide on a video to record before going out to visit this forest, when it kind of hit me: why not just make the walk itself the video? So here it is haha. Let me know if you enjoyed this and would like more in the future! BTW: Sorry about the background noise in some sections. The forest is in the middle of the city so when closer to the perimeter, traffic noises & construction noises get significantly louder than I expected, same for planes passing by. Hopefully it's not too distracting, and might feel even more like an "unintentional asmr" video?

So as I was editing this video, I realized I used the same handheld twice. I used my NA New 3DS XL, and also my JP New 3DS LL. They look very different, but it's the same console so same sounds haha. Didn't even cross my mind while recording! So that's why the console is there twice!

That setup looks so comfy! I'm jealous of the manga collection lol. Great to see another Okayu fan too (speaking of asmr, she's the best vtuber at it I've found). I think I found your twitter randomly through the algorithm ー maybe cause I also follow MattvsJapan ー and I just wanna say your posts have been very inspiring as a Japanese learner of 2 and a half years and I really appreciate them! I still need to start the 無職転生 LN series as well after I'm done with 陰実 haha. So I was wondering, when you read paperback books do you ever add unknown words to Anki? I find that it is very time intensive having to manually type in the example sentence (like a couple min for one card) compared to simply using my computer setup which literally takes seconds, so I'm curious if you knew a better method to doing that, or if you skip it entirely, or just take the full time to add a word? Once again, thank you for the insights/posts and it's cool to see that you also do ASMR videos!

Yeah Okayu is great, I think the only other vtuber I've found (so far) that does amazing asmr is Millie Parfait, although she's an EN vtuber haha Ah someone coming from the immersion sphere! Ok so I have to admit: I dont read paperbacks lol. Too much of a pain in the ass like you said. So I've bought books that I want to read, but then I read them digitally for the ease of looking up words & making anki cards. I guess if you're reading something that you only need to look up words once every few pages, at that point it's probably fast enough to be worth reading them paperback, but until then, I found it not worth it. Funnily enough I've found myself enjoying reading digital more than paperback, so while I like my collection, I'm not starting to feel like maybe it was a bit of a waste 😅So I'll at least slowly make ASMR videos of the collections to have given it a proper use, before deciding where I want to go from there.

A really great trigger that I never see people do is by using the cable of the controller. The black plastic wire, when touching itself makes a great sound. Try it and see what you think, maybe if you like it you can add it for a next video 😁 Im glad you're back!

Well, safe to say I was looooong overdue for a new controller sounds video! Sadly though, I do not have the N64 nor gamecube controllers anymore 😢 Honestly it feels like something is missing without them. Might just have to get some back in the future and make a new video with them! 😅

I just realized that this was the 100th video on my channel! Crazy to think I posted my first video 9.5 years ago on june 11 2014. I can't help but wonder how things would have gone if I had never stopped making videos, but oh well, there's no point in thinking about that! What matters is I've been back for a month now and I intend to stick around this time for hopefully quite a long time haha!
