on an unrelated note, i love how your argent metal is a lot more on the doom 2016 side. such an underrated soundtrack and its getting really tiring with all the argent metal i see just trying to copy TOTTFIY with sick riffs and synths in the background instead of the more sound design focused, more synth dependant argent metal found in 2016

@@sp22ce mick's technique of taking sine waves, sometimes paired with noise and running them through various distortions is extremely versatile, and you can create interesting sounds really quickly and easily with it. there are also plenty of sample packs with sounds that feel straight out of doom. i occasionally dabble in argent metal for fun and am able to design sounds with a strong resemblance to something from doom 2016 really quickly
