Thyroid storm is no joke. It happened to me twice that im aware of, at least once before i was diagnosed with graves and once after the diagnosis . Thyroid storm can kill you
@lp6722 жыл бұрын
To be extremely honest it's very possible that you never had graves disease but rather thryroditis which is a temporary state from stress or some inflammatory factor and it would have resolved naturally after a bit of methinazole

I’m 25 and just got diagnosed yesterday with Graves. I have an appointment to see the endocrinologist in about two weeks. I’m really praying God heals me and mine will also go into remission.

Interestingly, you can hear what may or may not be quotes of Chopin's 27th prelude, which he nicknamed "Devil's Trill," in the soundtrack of the movie. I do not know if this was intentional or not, but it would be a very interesting detail. As for your commentary, I fully agree and hope to see more. Have a lovely day!

The Gospel of Grace The Gospel for EVERYBODY TODAY 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV 15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Galatians 1:11-12 11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. Saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ Romans 3:23-25 KJV 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; We’re Not Under the Law Galatians 3:23-25 KJV 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Titus 3:5 KJV 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. When you believe in you heart on the Blood of Jesus Christ (The Finished Works) you are saved brothers and sisters for all of eternity (Eternal Security is Yours) Romans 8:38-39 KJV 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Nothing can ever take you away from our Lord when you believe in your heart. NOTHING NOT YOUR FUTURE PRIDE NOT YOUR PRESENT LUST NOT YOUR FUTURE LUST NOTHING MEANS NOTHING Thank you Jesus Christ for this promise you gave me and all who believe, I’m so blessed Lord. I pray this helps You or Someone Else get a little closer to Jesus and get clarity on what it takes to be Saved by Faith in the finished works of Christ The Rapture is coming, and it Will Be Glorious

Thank you so much Lena for sharing your story. I just learned that my hyperthyroidism returned after going off of meds for a couple of months. I guess it was only a medically induced remission. :( I'm kinda down about it. I'm a believer too...but I need more faith. Say a prayer for me please. Thanks. Andrea

Wow I had the same symptom, I called my best friend for help and I couldn't speak. I could think but it wouldn't come out. For a few weeks it was like everything was on the tip of my tongue but couldn't say it. My MRI and CT was clean, because initially they thought it was a TIA (which can happen with Hyperthyroidism combined with an irregular heartbeat. except my heartbeat wasn't irregular). Finally they said it was a type of Aura Migraine brought on by the thyroid storm. I then got diagnosed with Graves a week later.
@edlena17593 жыл бұрын
Wow! I remember the feeling of not being able to speak and I felt so helpless. My doctor's never told me why I was struggling to talk, at first they assumed it was anxiety but I told them I wasn't anxious. It's so crazy how our thyroid can affect so much of our livelihood. Thanks so much for sharing! Praying for ya!

Hi Rachel, that’s tough. Thanks so much for your question! Our thoughts are if it’s going to be a cause for division in the church it probably shouldn’t be shown. Also, not sure it’s church youth event appropriate.

Hi Lance! Yes I cut out iodized salt, caffeine, and cut back on dairy, processed meats and processed sugars. I’m a tea drinker, so I specifically stayed away from black teas and green teas during that time. I started drinking caffeine free herbal teas as well

@@edlena1759 That sounds like AIP diet, was that what you were doing? It's what I'm doing now.
@edlena17593 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if it was AIP, but I know there was a list of foods that I was instructed to stay away from and to consume. There was a diet plan for managing graves disease that was presented to me while I was in the hospital.
