Never played the PC version, but this version is still so good. It was on PS1 too, but it was a very different game...

The sounds haven't aged particularly well in this game, and weren't exactly stellar at the time - but the gameplay is still phenomenal after all this time, and that's why I still love it.

Honestly, it's still a better racer than a lot of modern stuff. This is from an era when games were designed purely to entertain 👍🏻

That could be a lot better in 2nd half for Purple Mouse. Keep up with good momentum in the next race and final push for the last 4 races to go.

Cheers Chris - the GT1 is a wonderful car to drive, so precise. Together with a circuit that I already love, it made for a great combination. I will also drive it in the final round around Barcelona, another of my favourite tracks - so I'll be hoping to go well there too!

Nice addition to your content. Good little video and interesting to see the older stuff still holds its place. Nice to move on but some of the older stuff retains its classic status.

Sounds interesting.. Voltz, Seneca and Ravenwest are very strong in Pro Season this time. So your team need to bring the A-game, practice hard before race start and hoping some very strong results at the end of season. If not, you'll be in trouble. Just like me for what I've did in the last few months. Fuji Speedway was the feature of GRID Legends - DLC Enduring Spirit. Just like in Gran Turismo 4-6, Sport & 7 edition.

Thanks Chris - yeah, well aware of the threat from those teams, a definite step up from the 2023 season! I will be making more effort to practice this year too, plus there are one or two tracks I'm not that familiar with - but I want to be challenged, so let's see what happens!

I wish GRID Legends 2024 season trailer will be upcoming soon to see what's in store for. Pro season will be tougher like ever before except Corse Classiche.

@@purplemsegaming Can't wait for you to prepare ahead of 2024 GTC (Grid Team Championship) if I believe you'll be taking on against Ravenwest, Seneca, Voltz, Vulpini, North Point, DisruptR, Euro Rand, Haruna Kyojin, Kowloon Dragons and Hammerhead as you wish for next year.

@christospeedgamer3351 Undecided on the teams for next year as I would prefer to take on the same drivers rather than completely change the roster - but then it might be cool to bring Ravenwest etc. into the mix. I need to do a little more game testing before I can decide that.

Looking at all the classes in the game, I believe I can actually swap the team rosters to bring in Ravenwest, Seneca etc. which should be pretty cool! Would be good to take on Nathan McKane again 🤣😡

@@purplemsegaming Yup because of DLC 2023 until season 5 of this game. I think two Ravenwest drivers known as Jaxon Lewis and Logan Parker that you'll be racing against them.

Thanks - yeah, I've struggled with the GTs too this year, may switch to a lighter GT category for 2024. But overall its been a great first season on a new game, with a near 70% increase in engagement, so that fills me with confidence for next season.

Thanks very much - had a feeling this season was all about getting to grips with the game itself, which I feel more comfortable with now. 2024 will likely feature similar categories, but maybe different classes of car - but there will always be some element of Touring Car, GT and Open Wheel, usually supported by one or two other types.

Thanks - it was tough with HighGrade right behind me for the entire race - and I did get a little bit of luck with Pivot Drift's engine failure - but I feel I deserve a little luck after being spun off in a few recent races 😉

Not a bad try but almost get that podium. We'll see about making GRID All-Stars Championship soon like Multi-Class Championship against Pro drivers. Like example, 5 different car classes in each discipline that all need to play for in 4 races except Corse Classiche. Of course it would be difficult like hard and expert I guess.
