Lived down in Youghal when I was younger, twas the first time I ever saw the men bowling down along the River Blackwater, on the way towards Waterford. Such an amazing pastime!

Saw one of the very early pictures at the start in an Art Museum in Cork. My Father from Wexford mentioned ‘bawlling’. Great to hear about the History etc as a Pétanque player.

A game derived from irish navvies throwing stones, during their lunch hour, along a road, that they've just built . What is disturbing is that professional irish people including surgeons, architects,professors...etc also seem fascinated by their fellow man throwing stones along a country road.

I love this video! When visiting another city or country, every educated person must visit a museum. Visiting museums is very useful and fascinating. A love for the "eternal" and "beautiful" is awakened in a person, the beginnings of greatness and respect for history are inculcated.
