Insane that this is a documentary about all the things I Love on KZbin, including people like Nick Nocturne, Nexpo etc and yet it’s been out 2 years and it’s never been recommended to me - fantastic algorithm YT! I only heard about it today when it was mentioned on Night Mind. This is an amazing and in depth documentary and Alex has done an incredible job, I hope Nicks mention of it, will put a lot more well deserved eyes on it!

When he talks about kids being scared of logos at the end of shows, I thought I was the only one!! 😄 I remember when I was the little, the 90’s central tv logo froze on the screen. I was absolutely terrified! Mom and dad told me I got into a right state 😖 I was crying and hitting the tv screen! It’s crazy to think back on how much it bothered me.

I appreciate your desire to make a documentary about the Slenderverse, as it's a long-standing community that has faced many challenges in staying alive and relevant. The most loyal and dedicated fans of this community have kept it alive through their continued creation of art and projects. I am excited to see the impact your documentary could have in reviving the community and potentially attracting new fans. However, I have some concerns about your decision to include Jeffrey Koval in the documentary. Koval was exposed for being abusive towards his girlfriend, particularly in the form of emotional and verbal abuse. From what he's posted on his Twitter, Koval handled the situation poorly by denying his abuse and downplaying the harm he caused. He stated that it was simply a matter of “bad feelings” and “relationship differences”. He failed to take responsibility for his actions and acknowledge the harm he caused to his girlfriend. It's unacceptable and shows a lack of remorse for his actions. Your decision to allow Jeffrey Koval to participate in the documentary and speak on the community is concerning. By letting Jeffrey Koval in the documentary, it shows that we care more about who's popular and talented than making sure everyone is safe. You clearly did your research on the community and made a conscious decision to exclude Adam Rosner from participating in the documentary, given his past allegations of sexual misconduct. So, why have you decided to include another abuser, Jeffrey Koval, in the documentary? He has shown no accountability or remorse for his actions, and yet he is allowed to participate in the documentary and speak on the community. This sends a contradicting message that we are being selective about which abusive behavior is tolerated in our community and which is not. We cannot turn a blind eye to one abuser while excluding another, especially when both have caused harm and showed a lack of accountability for their actions. Jeffrey Koval's abusive behavior should not be diminished or excused just because it wasn't sexual or physical in nature. Emotional and verbal abuse can cause damage just like any other form of abuse. By giving him a platform to speak on the community, we are effectively endorsing his abusive behavior and sending a message to victims that their experiences do not matter. This is unacceptable and goes against the values and standards we claim to uphold in the community. I know that this comment will likely be deleted to try and cover up the truth, but it's worth it to know that at least some people will read it and be informed about the situation. It's important that the community is aware of the truth behind Jeffrey Koval's abusive behavior and why the his inclusion in the documentary is problematic. We cannot ignore the actions and behavior of Jeffrey Koval and pretend like they never happened while we continue to warn people about Adam Rosner's actions bad behavior. Both Adam Rosner and Jeffrey Koval have engaged in abusive behavior that has hurt people, and both deserve equal warnings and attention about their actions. If we are going to talk about Adam Rosner's abusive behavior, we need to also acknowledge and talk about Jeffrey Koval's abusive behavior as well.

1:47:00 I don't necessarily mind people putting their names and credits in their works, but I think the issue of analog horror when it's done right when it's done very well is that it lingers with you after the video is over. Credits can dull that. I don't know the best way to resolve this paradox. Gemini Home Entertainment is perhaps my favorite analog horror because of how well is sticks in my mind even all these years after first seeing it and that's partially due to the mystery surrounding Remy Abode. Is that the creator's real name? Is it the character in-universe who is archiving these tapes? It's left unclear (even to this day, I believe), but still everyone knows Remy Abode and that doesn't break the lingering unease that the video series leaves with you and that's perfect. At some point they even stopped including those "credits" at the end of the videos. Anyhow, I know I'm late to this video because KZbin decided to never recommend it despite how much Analog Horror I consume and how many Analog Horror breakdown and explanation videos I watch. I'm here because Night Mind is advertising the Slenderverse documentary that is coming in a few more days. Sometimes the algorithm is great. But mostly it's stupid.

After hearing you talk about Ghostwatch, it really reminded me of the "live" episode of Inside No 9, that did pretty much the same thing. The episode was titled "Dead Line" and I assume if someone have watched and enjoyed Ghostwatch, they'd probably enjoy the episode of Inside No 9 as well (which is an amazing series in general. Kind of like Black Mirror, with a new story each episode. But the twists in IN9 is so much better, imo. And the humor is better too. Such dark comedy mixed with genuine scary moments. Strongly recommend it. Its currently running its last season. Only 1 episode left. Coming this Thursday, I believe. This week anyway.)
