The fact is Feldenkrais "practitioners" take some classes and all of a sudden they are providing medical advice and therapy to patients (clients) where they are not Board Certified or even licensed to do so. These "practitioners" are not aware of any pre existing conditions that can be exacerbated if encouraged to engage in certain therapy. The practitioners are not even aware of what are dangerous movements that can effect different underlining conditions such as brittle bones, spinal issues, heart conditions, cancers, digestive issues, acid reflux, asthma, balance issues, nerve problems etc. If one is to consider Feldenkrais Method they should definitely consult with their private physician first for their approval.

Hankyou for your videos. This one particularly resonates as I have great difficulty walking. ❤️❤️

Thank you for this helpful video. It's so informative and is helping me move more freely. You mentioned one you've done about walking while standing. I can't seem to find it. Can you please help me . ❤Thanks so much 😊

Fyi: Did you know that all 5 of the other lessons have been posted as a kid's channel? You cannot turn on notifications or save a video if it's KZbin Kids. (Nor make comments). You may want to change this

@@wellnessstation8897 no problems 👍 (I thought you might be wondering why nobody was making comments! Actually can I ask, I find Feldenkrais very helpful but I have ME/CFS and I do not want to 'stir' anything up so to speak. I've recently been through severe insomnia and all I need now is rest. My back & neck are out of alignment with my left shoulder higher than the other & head tilts to the left. I can't go and see anyone because my body sleeps during night, awake during day. What should I try? Thank you (I'm in New Zealand).

We recommend going through our videos, slowly, taking many breaks to pause, listen to your body. It’s hard to give generalized recommendations without actually evaluating a person. Check to see if there is a Feldenkrais practitioner local to you that might be able to guide you in the right direction@@MightyMouse350

Thank you very much for this detailed, clear and explanation of how many ways there are for getting up and down and how to manage it. Brilliant! And as you explore those possibilities, you become so much more agile along the way. Absolutely great! 👍🙏🌟

This was great thank you. I too get disappointed that movement has become so structured. My back round is yoga and Somatics both Hanna style and Feldenkrais. Are you offering any trainings or longer classes?

Thanks it is really interesting to see the movement of the spinal bones in motion.
