@TryhardArchivesАй бұрын
@@nolanq1536 so this is technically 3 randomizers in one. Item, enemy, and fog wall. As far as starting out with items goes, all it does is randomize my starting equipment for each build. The starting stats stay the same and the requirements stay the same. There was a 4th randomizer that does randomize parameters on everything but I couldn't find it.

:'D i fucking love monster hunter !!!!! I started with rise. Omg it's such a good game. Now im at 4U, i want to eventually try 3U, World, and then DOS
@TryhardArchives3 ай бұрын
That's awesome to hear you started with Rise and want to explore the older gens to see what they all have to offer. Every single one definitely has its own things! World is great for visuals, great seamless environments, and more streamlined stuff (similar to Rise except Rise is more sandboxed and pulled some elements back from gen 4) Generations Ultimate (my personal favorite) is a Greatest Hits of gens 1-4 and a great game to sink into if you just want to experience some of the best stuff the old MH had to offer but with lots of quality of life stuff (and hunting styles/hunter arts which are unique to generations and offers way more variety in gameplay) 4U (as you've probably experienced now) offers verticality, focus on mounting monsters and included the insect glaive and charge blade, and they're both really good in that game. It also offers expedition quests which are procedurally generated maps that can throw tons of random monsters your way. It's a really fun mode and I thoroughly enjoyed going out on them to see what I'd find! 3U I think is the most unique generation overall, as it offers underwater combat among other things. It starts off kinda slow but is really fun overall and one of my favorites in terms of what it offers. I'd recommend playing the Wii U version if you can since it's higher resolution. Portable 3rd is its own thing, as it's gen 3 but on PSP, so it kinda harkened back to a lot of the gen 1/2 stuff and doesn't have swimming in it. It also took place in an Eastern themed town and Zinogre is its flagship, which I think is why people liked it as much as they did. Freedom Unite (my second favorite) has tons of content in it from both gen 1 and gen 2. It can be difficult to get into at first, and some stuff hasn't aged the best, but it's still a really good one if you can get past the old generation jank. Dos is kinda in its own category from Freedom 2/Unite as it did a lot of ambitious things for the time that never got put in the later titles. The main one being seasons, but also it made full use of event stuff in the online town and other things I am not fully aware of yet, just things I've heard. Afaik it was the first iteration of 2nd gen, kind of like a protoype of sorts since it only came out in Japan for the PS2 as a later entry as the PSP was starting to emerge and become the favored medium for Monster Hunter in Japan. Monster Hunter 1 and G are basically the same thing, except G has more content and is Japan exclusive. Freedom 1 is like a PSP port of G but downgraded in some ways, has some bugs here and there, and the difficulty was scaled down since I imagine they expected more people to play it solo rather than with friends. Lots more quality of life stuff in Freedom 1 compared to G as well. But if you want the OG monster hunter experience to see where it all started, I'd definitely recommend trying the original PS2 MH1 at some point just so you can see how far it's come and push yourself through the challenge that is gen 1 difficulty lol. Regardless of which you end up playing, hope you have fun and happy hunting!
@Lutyrannus3 ай бұрын
You may have figured it out already on your own, but in case you didn't the "Guild's Choice" option is just a randomized quest list. In Japanese the option literally just says "random index." The other options are "field index" (to sort quests by map) and "monster index" (to sort quests by monster type).

I'm sad I wasn't able to watch this one live TwT also I laughed when you skipped the Chamberlynes dialogue saying "I know how to play Monster Hunter" and then were immediately met with an item you didn't know what to do with xD My only advice so far (and apologies if you realized any of this in your second stream or near the end of the VOD, I didn't 100% finish yet) is that I would pay a bit more attention to the villagers, some new ones showed up (the Rival Hunter and Combiner) that I don't think you noticed. Also, and this is the bigger one, be sure to check the bulletin board in the middle of the village! It has a loooot of useful information and will update whenever there is anything new.

And if you choose him, you become a new head of this sect. After travelling to Urzon with the book, you summon Abaddon, a tentacled monster with multiple eyes, who will strangle Belphegor through the portal. Your character will then discover demon powers: flight and casting fireballs from his sword (even if you use a wizard, the sword will be generated automatically). He will fly into the world of the dead and defeat Abaddon. After he is beaten, the game ends. The cutscene shows Alcedor to master the Necronomicon and to become a dark lord feared throughout the living and the dead. This will grant you a new book, called "The Path of Evil", which will contain lore about Father Henry, Kastski and a new character name: Axcedor, which will grant you a muscled guy with an axe.

in min 13:06 combo how do you get just frame in combo ender ?
@TryhardArchives6 ай бұрын
You have to do an RCC to put yourself back into standing the frame after 2aB puts you in crouching then do b:A. The timing is really tight. The best way I can describe doing an RCC input is to buffer with a 66 or a 44 then do the b:A. So in this case the input would be FLE (B) 2aB [66]b:A . It takes practice.
@TryhardArchives6 ай бұрын
It's the same thing with getting the b:A in the combo at 15:46, except that one is even tighter getting the 2aB after the 66A+B and I maintain that's Yoshimitsu's hardest combo to execute if not one of the hardest executions in the game.
