That would be a dream system for us vintage guys; just to hear. I'm sure we'd all love to hear more...More videos please! Bravo!

I never understand why twin tower speakers like this are set up with the tweeters on the inside. Surely this unnecessarily narrows the soundstage? Also this puts the woofers closer to the wall which doesn't seem like a good thing.
@RennieAsh3 ай бұрын
Maybe, but then again there a whole lot of things you could improve about that setup acoustically. Of course they want to sell you all that hifi goodness like cable risers, cables and racks and other random things that cost more than what you can get a good speaker pair for lol

It's a system that you don't see often. I'm also a fan of Altec. I'm blasting on A5 (515B, 311-60+288, 075). From Japan

Is that the C37 belonging to Mr. Choi? If so, then that's the C37 I sold to him. Once had a Presto 825 and an RCA LC1 pair (not A) and furnace cabinets. These were sold to other parties. I am more into period musical instruments these days (as in 18th and 19th century).

They are great machines. Miss the smell, and the noise of the mechanics. Pity about the background music so we couldn’t hear the machine properly! Anyways, I had the J37, the four track, but it was 1”. Believe me, 1/2” stereo sounded insane. 53 tubes all in all on that machine.

is the opposite end of this room with no fireplace available to use so your speakers do not have to fire at your fireplace frame? These are Klipsch K-Horn bins built under license. Sound nice.
