Im not saying your way is wrong, but it is definitely not the best way. I would not put metal anywhere near the wheel. If you're wanting to go through the wheel, thats fine. But use something that wont damage the wheel like an axle strap... also your anchor points on the wheels are high. Pulling downward would cause the wheel to spin thus the strap would then be loose. Im sure your way works for short hauls, but i definitely wouldnt want to do it this way for a long haul. At least its a cheap car so itd be cheap if ya mess it up. 🤷‍♂️

You have created too much stress on the box section drawbar where the two chassis meet by too much weld with no gusset or some sort of bracing. That is subject to crack. Your rear pivot hinges have weld all around, which once again stresses the box section, and the hinges could crack out. When welding on to box section where its under greater loads you need to be creative on how you go about it. In most cases, you need to plate the box and then weld on the plate. I'm not sure if I explained that correctly? I'm only trying to help. Good video and all the best from an old Aussie.

What is the 2nd cable? Im blowing a fuse trying to figure it out. Not even chatgpt 4.0 has a definitive answer. The 2nd shifter linkage looking cable on the right that is being popped on and off. Every Shift cable lever I look up for my 01 chevy silverado 1500 ls 4wd, shows up with 1 little ball point, but mine and your's as shown, have 2. 1 on either side for both shifter linkage cables to connect to. the one of the right keeps popping out of place when I put the shifter into and out of park. at 9:00 you're putting both of them back on.

@@Moonshinedave1 not really griping till you put your foot on the brake and it does virtually nothing. Not only worry about hitting a car. The griping is also logical thinking, when merging is very simple, me having to stop and then take 20 seconds to get back up to 40mph times the amount of trucks in the traffic =/ is now the reason for traffic.

Small shop but I use what I got. I’m in northeast Pennsylvania, we get clobbered with salt. The tan truck was from Mass until 2017 and it was nicer than alot of the trucks here. The blue trucks bed was rotted at the top rails, barely a bed anymore. Probably shop vac a few hundred pounds of rust and dirt out of the frame and rockers.
