Does this work for a child that has delay with fine motor skill/ hand writing? Can write but not on his age level due to ADHD/Autism. And has to have cues at time for school work.

Hello, I am a teacher at a private school and wanted to ask , how do you give the grade in a 100 percent scale ? Would I just estimate it ? And also is the grade given after the final paper is submitted? And wouldn’t that be a 100 every time since it was proof read and corrected ? Do we just go through the rough draft , correct it , then give it back so they can correct it , then we give the grade after everything is submitted? Thank you !

Sorry for my delayed reply. The checklist/rubric has point values associated, so you are able to grade on a 100 percent scale. I grade based on how well the student followed the rubric. I do allow my students to resubmit their papers in order to improve their grade each time. You might like IEW's gradebook. iew.com/gradebook

This is a great curriculum for students with ADHD. I would consider SSS2B or SSS1C and pair it with their Fix It! Grammar program. This podcast might be helpful. It specifically addresses ADHD and IEW. iew.com/support/podcast/r16-learning-differences-part-3-%E2%80%93-adhd
