Mekanism is great, but all the machines it require wow. I've yet to get through it fully as I get halfway through the ore processing side and just get a headache. My week was good as well. Those charge pads can output a surprising amount of FE, probably my more used thing of mekanism. Bonzai pots are really cute, damn wish I'd known about that mod earlier. Thanks for the upload!

Very nice editing on the stamping part! For me it's more about exploring what the game has to offer, not specifically goals. Depends on the game though, as some games have a story that'll drag me in, but others I'm more there for just messing around. Especially with minecraft modpacks, some have very extreme goals that I'm just not gonna have fun grinding. Other games like Bioshock or Deus Ex really drag me in. Thanks for another great episode!

1 tip is to not try and complete the whole chapter at once, but progress as available, especially for the auxiliary chapters (storage, furnaces, logistics, power, etc.) they are designed to guide you through quite a lot of progression, and crunching through the whole chapter is unnecessarily hard

Blood magic is fun, as is mahou tsukai. Whenever I've used mahou, getting the swords has always been a long process. Botania is the 'magic' mod I typically use, although it's more of a tech mod disguised as a magic mod. You're typically right though most magic mods don't seem to require as much logistical challenges as others like Create. They do look fancy af though. Mana and artifice looks fun though, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the episode! Good luck getting Caliburn and Morgan!

to be fair, most of the powah crafts are meant to be automated, you can do so fairly easily with ae2, and should be way less manual crafting. this is a good reason to setup your storage system not only to store the items, but also to automate with them using IO and on demand crafting. for passive systems it's good to directly hook up what they produce with storage busses.

Oooh, spanish! Very cool, I'm mainly english along with some german. Voice or not works for me, although the difficulty of speech is it can be hard to learn good video speech habits. Almost like the radio voice style. I never could get the hang of it when I've streamed before. You ran into the main hurdle of the alchemistry thing is that you can get things a BUNCH of different ways, so sometimes you gotta really stare at recipes for a while to figure out the best path to get a thing. Oddly a lot like real chemistry in a vague way. Thanks for the upload!

Ooo looks like a fun modpack. Very much like a skyblock modpack, but with several interesting twists. I heard of minecraft back when it was in alpha and playable through the browser. It was ultra basic, but still had all the basics that make it still fun to play today. The chemistry mod is really great though, and not that hard to use. It looks hard at first, but it's basically just you can dilute items into their base chemicals, then use those to make other stuff. Thanks for the upload!

for the powah reactor you don't need to supply it with water to run; it uses the same bucket of water without consuming it. the only things you need to provide are uraninite, coal, redstone and ice (dry ice)
@notmonika5
@notmonika5 4 ай бұрын
I see. I thought it required a constant supply. Also, will see if I can upgrade to dry ice for the solid coolant

also in the xnet system, it's absolutely intended that you use 1 channel for all the imports, just set the amounts to stock appropriately. the channels are not like in most other systems, it's better to imagine them as separate cables
@jonasgajdosikas1125
@jonasgajdosikas1125 4 ай бұрын
while xnet is a fairly good solution to bulk-craft powah items, the absolutely best way is to use ae2's pattern provider on blocking mode. it will not push an item in while there are ingredients of the recipe still inside (though you'll need some other way of getting the finished items out - the orb doesn't push items) also for powah especially, it's best to setup a molecular assembler recipe for dielectric paste and just hook up a lava tank with a storage bus. the system will craft the paste for you - no buckets necessary

A very nice graveyard! That poor chapter 15 video footage, may it live on in the internet ether. Wow the Powah chapter really was just like 'tier up instantly, then we do actual power later' lmao, looked really time consuming. Nice job! For auto crafting I believe AE2 works similar to Refined Storage in that you have to register recipes so the system knows how to craft it. I think with AE2 it's a bit more complicated in what stores / monitors the recipe. Sorry I haven't used AE2 enough to help. Hopefully someone else chimes in. The infinite factory was a great idea, especially the xp storage.

Planning on this episode was all over the place. Glad I was able to complete some objectives. I will try and experiment some more with ae2, but, as said, the current system will do. Thanks for the support!
@jonasgajdosikas1125
@jonasgajdosikas1125 4 ай бұрын
the autocrafting with other machines is similar to RS, and for crafting table, smithing table and stonecutter the molecular assembler is the machine that does the craft. in crafting table crafts there are extra options like fluid substitution for when you're crafting with a bucket and the bucket is left over. same applies to e.g. bottled honey then there is item substitution: it will save an item tag in the recipe and a preferred item [let's say oak planks], and will use the item if it is available, then will check if there are any items that match the tag [any planks] and if not will request a craft of the preferred item for machine autocrafting ae2's best feature is the ability to receive the crafted item back through the pattern provider, so be sure to set IO to push back to the pattern provider.

the IF machines have an automatic pull setting, so you can set up the latex processing without any pipes; just pull from the tank and the sink. this saves on space around the latex processing unit (also thank god it makes big rubber in later versions) also is AE2 autocrafting far off yet? if not it would be one of (if not THE) best upgrade to the base right now. and with a stable supply of energy you can try and look into getting a wireless terminal through dimensions
@notmonika5
@notmonika5 4 ай бұрын
I see. Will try to set it up again. Also, I think autocrafting isn't far, as I plan to make a bunch of factories for quantum singularity production, one factory could be for that. About energy, I'm seeing Chapter 19 is about Powah, maybe that can work

Nice job on the new storage / smelting upgrade! Looks like it saves a ton of time. I love that you're using uranium sheet metal as the building material for the latex farm. At first I thought it was copper that had been weathered, but uranium is way cooler. Also highly recommend stack upgrades for the backpack. You can make an upgrade to auto-pickup things, so you can have a backpack with a stack upgrade that auto-picks up all your ores/cobble/etc as you mine. Thank you for the episode!

btw most of the baubles are terraria references: the ankh shield and it's components; the horseshoe balloon (there should also be a double jump in a bottle), the cross necklace the thermal satchel is like a backpack, it provides an extra 9 inventory slots (more if enchanted with holding) and can autopickup items. you're probably missing or have a conflicting keybind for the satchel.

I love the diner and kitchen! I've always overlooked that cookbook mod as I can just use JEI but dang, now I'll have to check it out. Who knew spiders were such critics! The barn turned really nice, especially the crafting interface on the hay that really turned out nice! Sorry I don't know how to interface AE2 and the cooking blocks. Great job again!
@jonasgajdosikas1125
@jonasgajdosikas1125 4 ай бұрын
there is indeed a way to connect the cooking station and ae2, but it's a separate mod. If you only want some items available, you can connect interfaces and tell them to stock the specific items you need that would be then read by the kitchen.

For the drawers, while I haven't used AE2, I've run into this problem before. What you want to do is set the drawers to highest priority, but before that you need to make the tool that will allow you to lock all the slots. For each drawer you just fill the slots, then lock the drawer so those slots are always whatever you set them as. Then your AE2 system will try to send stuff to it first, and only stuff in drawers will succeed, so it will fall back to rest. Hope this helps! I like the greenhouse! Great work!

or you can partition the storage bus on the drawer controller, though this option is not as easily expandable. In later versions I'd just go completely digital with bulk cells. A big cell can replace 63 drawers (or 15 2x2 drawers) as long as you use an equal distribution card and optionally an overflow destruction card
