He would always bring me a new baby bonnet --- even after I was too old to wear them.. I think he probably bought them for you too, because I remember you always having a cute little bonnet on when you were little. He would always bring his trombone along with him when he came and play a few tunes for me on the trombone after his workout on the piano. I was not so impressed with the trombone, but loved the feel of the soft velvet lining the trombone case.

@@WandaSchideman I remember the smell of the trombone case. Smelled like polish and spit. Always thought it rather funny he blew the spit out. I remember being little and he would play his part, and blow the spit out, which was right on time to them clapping for his solo. Found it funny they clapped when he was blowing spit out. Took me awhile to figure that out. Lol

Beautiful spot to scatter his ashes. Also a great choice of musical background. it brought back some great childhood memories of him when he was in college and taking a keyboard course, he would come to our house to practice on our piano. I was about 3 years old. He would practice his classroom technique on me --- and it worked, as I too, majored in music and became a music teacher.
