His speaking voice is very different from his singing voice, it always sounds like this in interviews

I fucking love Matt, he along with Corey Taylor, Dave Grohl, James Hettfield and David Bowie are HUUUUUUUGE influences on my own developing vocal style. He's an amazing singer and just seems like an all around grounded, humble, amazing dude. I hope my music can take me far enough to meet him so I can tell him all of this face to face and thank him for inspiring me to do all of this.
