Bracknell did indeed used to play in Bracknell. They moved to Sandhurst some 3 seasons ago when their ground (also 3 G) was sold for Housing. Sandhurst FC is also owned by same family. Husband is Chairman of Bracknell and Wife Chairman of Sandhurst.

Local B&Q must have had a special offer on black paint when they did this ground up. When I went here a couple of years ago kick off was delayed until 4-45pm due to the away team being held up in traffic. No food in the ground that day also, so I don't have happy memories of the place 🥴

The reason the pitch is so good is because Arsenal maintain it, their U21s play their too. So they fund the pitch up keep and Arsenal groundsmen tend to it. There are plans to build a North Bank equivilant at the South End of the ground too but planning permission has not been requested yet, it is still being figured out.

Teriffic vid Chris, and brought back happy memories when visiting there earlier in the season. Those substitute seats are the best and most comfy I’ve see, and, as for the clock tower….a thing of beauty and it has a mesmeric effect when first seen.

Yeah 3/4 size for 9v9. Main pitch is better but not overly obvious on film but all our playing areas are very well looked after thanks to our volunteers and contractors.

Brought back memories of my time in the Borders in the 70's and 90's, (I am back in Essex now) where I both played cricket and actively watched football, mainly at Gala Fairydean, back in the Hawick RA were in the Border League and I did take in many games in this league too.
