I remember loving his music back in the 80's but hadn't a clue he was suffering with bi-polar disorder. He is truly a brave man to steer clear of the trappings that many in the music business succumbed to and braver by continuing to seek help for his illness. God bless you, Adam (Stuart) for your courage and perseverance.

My girlfriend played his records all the time (and I liked a lot of the songs but acted macho lol) so we went and saw him back around 1994. I was blown away. Truth be told, the greatest bands are the ones that have their own sound. Nobody can even duplicate. A lot of his best songs still sound cool and still hold up today. Very underrated band. We actually met Marco (briefly) the night before the show at a bar.

My first musical heroes. Kings of the Wild Frontier was the first album I ever owned (I got it for my birthday in 1981), and I even went to a school fancy dress party as Adam Ant, complete with the white stripe on my face.

I remember watching this on tv, it was a live broadcast and from what I can recall it was supposed to last for 50-55 minutes. Obviously it didn’t and how cool is it that the broadcast continued until the end!?

God, Malcolm MaClaren was such a conceited snob. I mean, he’s not necessarily wrong, but wow he was full of himself. Guess he was a fair price to pay for what he gave us, including Adam ✌🏻

How does this performance (and not just this performance), with musicians changing instruments between numbers etc etc, compare with today’s ‘music’? This band and their fans/followers have something to be extremely proud of. Well done Adam And The Ants, each member of this group are very accomplished and to be congratulated.

I grew up in town of 700 in Idaho, USA. After high school I went to Alaska for grins and only then heard his music going to disco clubs in Anchorage. When MTV came out I was still very small town mentality and shocked at the Prince Charming and Stand and Deliver videos. I kept MVP on to chance and hear them, although they were considered naughty..lol. I don't think the group had enough exposure in the U.S. They should definitely be in the Hall of Fame!!!!
