Why no audio of the performance? Are they hiding something?
@LyricStageBos3 ай бұрын
You can check out a version with audio here!: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIi7naauqZJ-oJo Nothing to hide here - we just like to give our followers a variety of ways to preview the show.

@@LyricStageBos Still no audio of "the show". There is background music which is clearly not the voices of your performers. Seems like you don't want to the public to hear what they sound like? I might have gone to this show but assumed they were not good enough to use in your promo. Maybe I missed something wonderful? I'd seem Drowsy Chaperon on Broadway and loved it.

I just saw this performance tonight, SOO AWESOME!

These were two awful people who treated their actors like gold and their staff like peasants. A very hostile work environment.

Is this the actual version of the song that exist with the licensed show? It's nice to hear here, but it's vastly different from the version heard on the Off Broadway Cast Album: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJ3cZ2qZmshpZsk Also what's the song played at 1:07, if you can/don't mind sharing?

I can't speak for this production, but when i saw the London production (online) it was this version (or at least closer to this one)
@alexsutton17728 ай бұрын
Yep. Dave changed it for the London version. The fully staged version in 2019 was the same as the album, but it's now changed to this version. as of the filmed "concert" staging from 2021.
@michaelwilliamybarra24098 ай бұрын
@@alexsutton1772 By how much was the rest of the show changed for that "concert"? Were the rest of the numbers and dialogue the same lineup and style as in the cast album, or were there other significant cuts, numbers replaced, and lines altered(like when comparing the Off Broadway version of Great Comet of 1812 to the Broadway version)?
@michaelwilliamybarra24098 ай бұрын
@@isak4238 Aw man, now I really wished I was able to see that online version as well. If you can recall, by how much was the rest of the show/numbers/Dialogue(at least during the songs) changed for the online show? Were the rest of the numbers and dialogue the same lineup and style as in the cast album, or were there other significant cuts, numbers replaced, and lines altered(like when comparing the Off Broadway version of Great Comet of 1812 to the Broadway version)?
@alexsutton17728 ай бұрын
@@michaelwilliamybarra2409 The only substantial change was this song. The only line change i remember was the inclusion of Rach saying that his parents listened to Elton John. I'll take a look back at my notes, but other than that the concert was song for song, word for word the same as the fully staged version.

I love Tyler and his acting. Could you please caption this video correctly for Tyler's Deaf and Hard of Hearing fans. Thank you. For me it would help even more so since when I went to see the show in person I was only able to get headphones that didn't even work and I had to sit up high in back. So I had no real access when I went in person. I would like to have at least a little access in the video. Character Name: lines That's not much to ask for. Thank you.

I'll always remember you, Johnny Lee Davenport, working with you at Yale Rep from never shy way from being you... the Shakespeare Theatre, and with the Oedipus Plays cast in Athens, Greece, you gave your all as a Thespian of the classical stage. Good night pleasurable and melodious King, may the flight of angels sing thee to thy rest.

I didn't know that Sondheim shows such as "Follies" and "Sunday in the Park" could be done in such an intimate space as the Lyric until Spiro did them. They were intimate and grand at the same time.
