bravo aux musiciens et en particulier au flûtiste, 10/10. Mais par contre 02/10 au cameraman.

Okay, I have just one more thing to say: I hate it when people who don't know what they're talking about speak as an authority. Just for clarification, this selection is a "minuet," despite the repeated misspellings (and don't give me that crap about French spellings; do any of us sound remotely French?), and the first duet (preceding that lovely tenor sax and some wind instrument duet) was with an oboe, not a bassoon. I've known some pretty good bassoonists in my day, but none that could match a flute note-for-note in the same range.

Well, Bizet was French and so am I, so I don't see any mispelling. :) Unless you consider it should be written "The Arlesian" too?.. Just so you poor English speaking people could understand without having your brain overheating... And if you're concerned with mispellings on YT, then good luck, your life will be miserable (Oh! another French word! Sorry!)

It’s actually an alto sax. I’ve seen the score before.

Let's face it: flute solos are boring! Still, this guy did okay with that one grotesque exception. The dude on the tenor, however, had a wonderful--if somewhat overwhelming--tone. Overall a nice performance of a wonderful piece. (I have to wonder how they'd do with the whole suite, though: that's a tough piece!)

At the beginning (literally 3rd note), you all have good balance on that chord, in class the other day we did an exercise so we could have the best balance we could, and you guys pulled it off brilliantly! :)

This is one of the better performances on Utube. Some obvious slips but you have an ear that understandings music. Don't rush and allow the playing to breathe more.
