I po'ed these the details look better than the jada toys versions however im planning to buy Maine in the jada version because he wasnt released in the pop up parade series

If you encounter male and female pegs that are very hard to assemble and stucked joints just dipped it in hot water for 20-30 secs , dont worry about the paint , it wont come off

If the box is pristine, keep it in the box

Keep the manga spawn in the box and any other if they are in great condition

Literally just had an open-box one arrive today from Ebay that I managed to get a ridiculously cheap price...still kinda shook about it. That said, one little detail I am noticing on my figure is that he has a chain of skulls necklace that are connected to the collar of his cape that drape down towards his groin area; they can rest there or spread over his left knee, which adds a neat little dramatic touch. Not sure if this is a different version of the figure I have, but I just wanted to say your reviews have been my favorite out of the various spawn collectors I have been watching on YT; thanks for the awesome work - pardon the long comment here! :) Edit: One final note, I have the updated more articulated figure that you did a follow up video on after this, and that one is killer as well! The posable nature of that spawn just adds a lot of character to it all!

I love this figure design and i was able to get all the variants minus 1 . Fun fact this figure was sculpted by the guys that later on created their own toy company called The Four Horsemen

This was the golden era of McFarlane figures. I'm very happy you opened this.. these works of art need to be properly displayed. It makes me forlorn to know I had many of these figures but had to leave them behind due to life circumstances. Those days are gone forever but I'm glad these figures are still valued by discerning collectors.

As a toy collector I used to blame McFarlane for never making toys as beautiful as they once did, until I understood the entire industry and cost of production. I mean in 20 years ago you could buy such a well made toy for $20-25 which was the result of the hard work of a generation of Chinese workers who were paid very little. Now if you want to buy the same quality toys as before you have to pay $100-150.

Just got him for £31. Absolute bargain. I was going to take him out the box but it's in mint condition so just gonna enjoy it through the window.

I had the whole set when they first came out, I was like 14-15 at the time. I sat down to assemble them, and spent a lot of time trying to decipher the vague instructions. Parts weren't going together the way it said they should, I tried to make it work, but one of the figures leg broke off immediately. I bought a replacement figure, and decided that I never need to assemble them.

It's a real gamble with Mcfarlane cyber/manga figures. I got this for a fiver a few months ago and honestly, not a fan.

Here in Germany it has costs 45-50 Euro.

He does look awesome despite the plastic chains and cape.

yeah not a fan of the plastic cape and plastic chains. metallic chains ⛓ would look better

For the knees and ankles dip it to some hot water about 20-30 secs, for the waist, it has a side turning spring feature, rotate it at 90 degrees then release it, it tries to mimic a slashing action for the right arm, you could also dip both arms to hot water, dont worry i have already tested it to my red figure which is much older than your white techno spawn, hope this helps 😊
