Hey! Thanks for playing my entry, it means a lot! Just a quick FYI...you can in fact clear that big gap at the beginning of Labyrinth 1 with a charged spindash and well timed jumps. Not the easiest trick but I've managed to do it several times myself lol

You'd first need a disassembly of the game. Mean Bean Tsuu uses RadioShadow's Mean Bean Disassembly so I recommend starting there.

@@traposo268 Since Mean Bean Hacking is relatively niche, no specific tools have been made specifically for it yet, but Notepad++ (or any text editor) can be used to edit the code, music and some of the mappings in the game. The art editors used for Sonic hacks (SonPLN, Flex2, etc...) should work with Mean Bean's art as well (as long as they use Nemesis or Enigma compressed art).

OMG! Finally another project on this game! As a future release, I'd love it if we too could have the sound of the Yewhaaaa combo! At least we could control the bad guys to destroy Sonic! That would be so cool!

Mean bean needed this upgrade honestly, especially considering how the original was pretty much a sprite swap, and every level had the rock background, meanwhile Kirby's avalanche was an overhaul of changed assets

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine was one of my favorite Genesis games, so I can't wait to see the final version of this hack! Outside of "Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine DX", I don't think I have seen any other full hacks of this game! Very excited!
